PODCAST "We're just stuck with him"

I heard something on the podcast that was just a bit of an aside but has been nagging away with me all day.
Perhaps one of the panel could clarify this please.
John (I think) said he had been speaking to Charlie (did he mean Charlie Adam?) about Critchley.
Charlie said Critch did not want experienced players in the dressing (again I think).
Anyone else pick up on this or have I just made it up?

No you are correct that was said. And I think he said Charlie reckoned we'd struggle because of that.

Of all aspects of Critch that now worries me most so answering the "fix" thread if I was Sadler I would now get a Brabin type coach him to shake him out of his comfort zone.
I think we are still a coach down as Dunn was never replaced.

Yep that’s correct - by which I mean you heard it right

Two amazing managers are currently without a club. Danny and Nicky Cowley were incredible at Lincoln. They achieved two promotions, FA cup quarter final, checkatrade trophy and pulled a city and county into line behind the club.

They would be absolutely perfect for Blackpool. Their attention to detail is unbelievable.

As harsh as it would be on Critchley, this is too good an opportunity to miss.

I think it’s fairly obvious he doesn’t want pros with a reputation while he beds in. A novice that wants to establish his authority. What Charlie said is probably correct.

I think that's probably true. It's how it's expressed that probably differs.

Critch will say " I want a young, hungry group, not weighed down by cynicism and world weary players, free to play fearless football*"

Adam says "can't handle senior pros"

*We wish!
