Policing absolute joke

People having to walk in live oncoming traffic north on Seasiders way, the pavement is not suitable for hundreds of people. The Access west onto Rigby rd was blocked off by police, many having to climb down the grass bank to get to there homeward direction. We were being sent all the way to the old central station 🤡 Lack of leadership by the old bill .

Yep. I went down the banking by McD’s, they wanted us to walk to Chapel St - I only live at the top of Bloomfield!
I’m sure their crayoned map had Rigby Rd open?

Not quite sure of the logic of blocking that path off. So they were telling people they had to walk into town then walk all the way back up central drive.
No mention of this restriction on the briefing from the police in the days prior to the match.
Why are they so useless.

So we went to the game and back down past the travel lodge down Seymour Road and through the back alley and down that way.

Once we got to Central drive there was a small group of nobbers after the game with police being held, which have ample opportunity for a bit of piss taking.

Not sure why there were there.

Was funny though.

The police helicopter malfunctioned and got grounded.

They obviously can’t cope without it.

A fan got hit by a car after trying to run away from a police horse.

Not sure who they support but hopefully they’re okay as the air ambulance attended 😬

Daft, surely the police anticipated the station being an area that would need some presence?
You’d think so, wouldn’t you. The 20 or so lined up on Seasiders Way to stop us using Rigby Rd could have been at the station instead.

post match….A gobby PNE group were on the opposite side of the road to Lidl on Bloomfield Road when one decided to kick something off but I suspect they got a lot worse than they expected given there were a huge number of Pool fans still walking towards where it started.

Police everywhere but given many fans park near the Bloomfield pub and surrounding area you’d have thought they would have had some presence.

As for funnelling us down Seymour into a sudden narrow passageway at the end of the game to get back to where most were parked, really bright..NOT

Just keep them in like they do to us at Preston.

When I was leaving, they were shoving everyone through a narrow alley into the back of St Helliers Road.

They left the entrance to George Bancroft Park on the opposite side of the road unmanned.

Were we supposed to be allowed to go onto Waterloo Road through George Bancroft Park, especially considering that's where most of the trouble was?

Came out of the South turned West down Bloomfield Rd, left on to Lytham Rd and picked up the car at TAMs office.
Never saw a Nobber until I passed one on the M55 at Kirkham giving the finger to another Poolie heading East.

I don't even know if we were supposed to be able to walk opposite the designated home fan alleyway and into George Bancroft Park which takes you onto Waterloo Road, considering that's where most of the trouble was?

Just seems weird to me that they were shoving everyone down this tiny alleyway, yet leaving the path opposite unmanned with the whole area not having a single police officer in sight.

Looks like another gobby group here..... this was it the claimed 300 that pne online mentioned, said it was with weapons etc, turned out to be a pretty minor scuffle.

Of all the places in Blackpool, you'd have thought the police would have targeted a hotspot like the train station.

After all, they were everywhere else!

Was talking to a random pool fan about this alley saying we never knew it was there and that it was like going on safari. We then look up and there’s a giant penis drawn on one of the windows 😁
