@Curryman's OP was about the shift to "antagonistic politics", I think it's fair to say that the vast majority of the insults and antagonism are going from (hard) left to right and not vice versa, it's not government ministers who are describing the opposition as "a bunch of scum, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, absolute pile of banana republic, vile, nasty, Etonian, posh... piece of scum".

Why is that? I think that part of the problem is that Starmer appears to be struggling to find anything to stand on, so all that feeds through is the usual hard left nastiness towards anyone who disagrees with them, but if you have other ideas please feel free to share them.

I do have other ideas Lost and I certainly don't take my ideas from the casebook of political thought that is AVFTT.

One thing I have learnt though, is never to expend too much energy intellectualising with those whose entrenched ideas mean that they cannot see beyond their own perspective. Oh, and if you do come back with, "no answer then", that's fine by me.

What about your blatant and contemptible lies? You accused me of lying and I proved it 's you who is the liar. And not for the first time too.
Here again is what you said.

"It was the police officer not looking where he/she was going and riding into a traffic light that caused this. Nothing to do with the protestors, though they were put at great risk by the runaway horse.". Every part of that statement of yours is a lie.

Still making excuses for your lies. You categorically said the police woman wasn't looking where she was going when she hit the traffic light.. That was a lie from you. I've not claimed anything except prove to you that your statement was a lie. You accused me of lying, I've proved it was you who was lying and yet you have failed to apologise.

And sure if this alleged party happened it's pretty shameful but unlike you I'm not gonna be angry,bitter and twisted forever and a day. Unlike you!
