Pompey having a wobble

I mentioned it following our 3-2 win over Cheltenham.
They were cut adrift at the bottom but looked to have turned the corner.
I predicted that they would climb to safety.
Martonmosser strongly disagreed!
 
Bit of Deja Vu about Pompey. I remember them being unbeaten a few seasons ago until we went down there. Chris Long scored on his debut after coming on as a sub for us. We won 0-1, and Pompey’s season just imploded after that.
It wasn’t a game I had planned on watching either but my daughter was visiting her then boyfriend in Southampton and he wanted to see Blackpool play so we just rocked up and POTG.
 
There’s nothing we can do now about being 14 points behind P/mouth and there’s no way we’ll finish above them

They have been in great form every week mostlyand we haven’t, except at home which we have a slightly better record than them

I haven't said you've said that as others have just stated what the situation is which you questioned so i think my point and question is perfectly reasonable. But hey, you're right the season isn't over and we can catch Portsmouth. But chances of doing that are pretty low which is basically what people are saying..

not quite the same thing, What you said was being specific about Pompey. And it's the teams nearest to us that the point about games in hand was about. The likes of Barnsley, Stevenage and Oxford. It's the play off teams we need to be more concerned about at this point in time.

Confident we'll finish above Stevenage, Oxford and Barnsley.

The season is far from over Wizaard and yes Pompy have faltered in moving further away from us but are still 14 points ahead of us on the same games.
For that difference to be overturned it'd take Blackpool to win 5 matches whilst Pompy lose 5.
They've only lost 3 all season 😁
We may only be 4 points off the playoffs but imo were potentially 7 points adrift as I can see Barnsley winning at least one of their 2 games in hand.
It is imperative that our away form changes for the better (hopefully the performance against Forest may give them a boost) and that the home form continues in the same vein as it has the majority of this season.
I'm optimistic we can reach the playoffs but it's not a given.
