Pompy fans

Was disappointed with our turnout (9,000ish) considering we were playing the top of the league.
Frustrating to see big gaps in the South for such a vital game. It's now or never this season and we need everyone behind us, not Sat at home watching the rugby. Brilliant support today in the North. What was it like in the West and South? It's hard to hear anything else from C block.

Even the Kop didnt look as busy as normal from where I was sat.

Think we better get used to lower crowds as I can’t see nearly as many season tix next season..the football has been turgid at times under Critchley and the fans who still travel away must be sick and tired of some of the dross served up..it’s just about palatable if you win ugly but if you play that way and don’t win people will vote with their feet

Really? My last 2 away games have seen us win at Peterborough and Shrewsbury. Most enjoyable and if folk can't enjoy supporting the team in a game like today then they never will.

Totally agree, crowds will be down significantly next season if Critchley stays

Turned up in good numbers and contributed to a great atmosphere. No animosity just supported their team well. Can't say the same for their team and coach, cynical play and coach moaning to the 4th official all game. As for the ref ... 😠
Some animosity in the Lonsdale car park after the game. Kicking off big style.

I apologise for catching a rather nasty dose of something, (probably man flu) which meant I was not up to a long day out (around 12hours) and a football match sitting in the South, with a cold sweat and shivering. There will be others who couldn't make it for various reasons.

Get well soon Curryman.
It wasn’t actually that cold in the South but then I did have thermals on😂

What a shit KO time 4.45pm is for football fans that enjoy rugby too.
Managed to watch the second halves in the golf club for Wales,Scotland & Ireland games.
We should be back ok from Wigan next for French game.

Like Blackpool at Football, Englands Rugby "Collective Team Performance" was superb yesterday!! 🧡🚌 ⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏉

There were gaps in the north as well. Depends where you are on what you can see. The support was brilliant all round the ground, not just the north.

Cannot complain about the home matches surely, but agree the away form has been very poor apart from 3 or 4 good displays

No I was there. Speaking on behalf of the other fans who didn't bother.
I wasn't there yesterday but before you speak for me be aware of the fact that the only reason I wasn't there is due to ongoing health issues and have reduced mobility which makes it difficult and some days near impossible to get to my seat and also to stand up and watch the game when those around me are standing. So before you endeavor to speak for me, take your opinion as to why I was not there and shove it where the sun doesn't shine then twist it twice

Why are people getting personal. I simply looked at the attendance and thought less than 10k home fans for such a 'big' game.

Weren't they given 2200 tickets?
If so, just under 9000😐
The official attendance was 11,818 … So that’s around 9,600 Home Supporters, which has been pretty consistent for the last couple of seasons really. So @A_Tense_Grin can talk it down all he likes, but there’s no evidence that our attendances are falling or that fans are losing interest.
