I bet the Saudis are kicking themselves for wasting their money on Newcastle when they could have had a n established champions league team if they'd waited a bit.

I doubt it as they bought Newcastle for 415 million. It they get Newcastle in to the Champions League and/or
win a few trophies, that value will rocket up.
FSG paid 300 million for Liverpool.
Estimates value Liverpool now at between 3.5 and 4 billion. 😮
So probably a much bigger payback for buying Newcastle at that price.
Probably still chicken feed to an oil rich state.

Think the money is already rolling into Newcastle via the Reuben’s who are part owners. They are investing a huge amount on Pilgrim Street including an office for 9000 civil servants. New stadium bring talked about (Metro Arena site?)

The footprint doesn't seem that big. Could be wrong though.

There is only one Pool and it isn’t that one……”Come On you Pool“ applies to only one club…….and having spent three years( yes it was a long time ago) at University in Lipperpool😉 I can categorically say they never call them selves the Pool.

Good one. There is a huge derelict area between the arena and the river. No doubt in different ownership. The new arena is now under construction in Gateshead (although enough money to complete? ). It’s f@@@ing sickening. I had to watch the Mags on Sunday with my family in a pub in Gateshead. Especially after the Luton game. I just wanted to puke. At least one of them asked knew our result.
