Poveda

Neither did bowler very often early on but the intent was there and the goals started coming.
I think if both him and Theo start improving on their final ball like passing it at the right time to the right man we will get goals. Again this was always a criticism of bowler.

I liked what i saw, same with Wright, and while corbeanu doesn’t exactly look like a footballer as you traditionally expect, he finds a way to cause problems. Sadly comes with the territory that these younger players need games to find their feet, but there was plenty enough today to suggest that we have the tools in the bag to get results. It will come IMO!

He played well, very promising, But it's the decision making that's the problem. You can have great skill, a brilliant first touch, but ultimately it's that final decision, that final ball, that separates the decent from the good, and the good from the great.

I thought it would've been the right decision to take Poveda off (as he was tiring), were it not for the fact that CJ replaced him.

He should have stayed on. Very surprised he was taken off so early 🙄

“the final touch” he only needs to cross one ball into the danger area to create a goal. He won’t do that with every run down the wing he makes.

CJ’s first touch was to play the ball back instead of making a run 😞
