Preston away

Tit for tat...we did it for them. Sad that it's come to this as it's the biggest game in the season's calendar for fans of both clubs, but that's the way it is! 😏🤷‍♂️
I don't think t'Rovers are giving you a full allocation either are they? 🤔
I don't think they are which if it comes to that match to go up or be champion's they will regret I fear.

What a terrible statement. Where is your proof for that? Some idiots may go looking for trouble but there are idiots on both sides.
Speaking from experience of both home and away games with Preston for over 40 years, many PNE supporters do take the derby game as their be all and end all game of the season.
There is a larger percentage of them there to cause trouble, in fact some are just pain animals.
I'm not saying other clubs don't have that element but Preston are one of the most horrible sets of fans I've ever encountered, sadly.
There are plenty of decent folk from Preston but your scummy element is from the very bottom of the barrel.

We were penned in behind police vans completely blocking the road and your idiots thought it a good idea to throw a wheelie bin over the top onto the fans behind, followed by bricks.

Cowardly.

Some of our younger 'wanna be' lot are a cringy, horrible excuse for humans but both clubs have this type of scrote attached to our clubs. You have the ones who throw stuff on to the pitch and into the away end and we have similar and there are decent folk from our two places that try to stop this thing from happening and until a few example are made of this type of fan I cannot see it stopping, sadly.

Our capacity - 17338
Deepdung is 23404.
They give us less than 10% as they take in to account segregation.
I for one would rather we play the 10% game, we will always 500 tickets netter off than those petty cnuts.
You need to grow up you would not sell out our away end.
The most tickets you have sold for a away match is 3000 .
Looking at your last Match a sea of orange empty seats & at discount prices ! no where near 10,000 on .
Also with the tragedy at the Manchester pub I think for safety reason at all local matches we should limit tickets to away fans .
You started it with the first meeting between us .
Burnley Got 3,500 & look what happened.
We don’t want a repeat do we ,

You lot do the same at Bloomfield Rd against us.
A young pne lad got attacked by a group of brave Blackpool fans &
put him in Victoria hospital with a fractured skull & his hearing is still not right.
Now that is really cowardly wouldn’t you say.

Well the Dua Lipa song is "One Kiss Is All It Takes", it's not hard to figure out what word they've replaced in regards to recent events. I knew they'd be chanting the typical chant that disrespects anyone who has died where you say someone is "in a box" (portions of our following did the exact same with Hemsworth) - now they'll have two on April 1st.

It will certainly turn moody in the ground when those chants become audible. Disrespecting club legends and owners is one thing but with the events still being so recent and it being a fellow fan/friend/family member for some, I ain't looking forward to that part.

Of course. The difference for me is that the situation I was placed in was a direct result of the police kettling us in, leaving us with nowhere to go.

That's the difference.

I've been at Deepdale with 20,000+ Seasiders. We've frequently sold 5,500 until Ridsdale played the hero with you lot.

Lillywhite & Tangerine morons BOTH sets off them.
Fortunately they don’t represent the majority of Lancashire Football fans who have the intelligence to understand the difference between banter and mindless abuse.
Both Finney and Mathews behaved like ‘gentlemen’ (not something you’d always associate with footballers) and deserve our respect. The chant just wasn’t ‘playing the game,’ somehow.., 😔

You Seasiders do bloody exaggerate .
3,000 away fans is the most you sold this season you crowds are piss poor admit it . Why should we give you 5,500 when you can’t sell them .
A lot of our stadium is red for your match already . One block sold out in the kop & it’s on tv & capacity set at 20,000
Our average home gate is over 15,300 and we have you rovers & Sunderland to come in our last 4 matches.
Your average home gate is 11,500 & it’s well known away fans love coming to Blackpool for a party Coventry have sold out for Saturday about 1,000 came to deepdale .
We are are all small clubs in Lancashire but our away following is 8th highest in the championship at over 1,700
Yours is about 1,000 .

Very good here's a🥉

The way we're playing right now and taking in to account we've won once in 17 games (and got battered in that game) I'm not at all confident we'd beat anyone in this division pal. Also PNE have won 2 and drawn 2 in their last four home league games, not exactly bad home form either.
I bet you are feeling a lot more optimistic after Tuesday night

You are talking out your arse, we've sold out your away end every time you've given it to us.

(this was the same season you struggled to sell out our old, tiny away end with the excuse that it was midweek and on Sky. Please see below for our following in the exact same circumstances)

2013:

Our first meeting after coming up in 2007, you only gave us half the stand as you hadn't built your East Stand yet. These are the only 3 occasions since Deepdale's renovations we've played you and you've given us the entire end. Sold out each time cha!

with your gate receipts of about £30 - the rest having been given away

i was stood next to the guy hit by the wheelie bin - cut his head down the side.

there was also a steel post, and petrol can with no lid on thrown over - god knows what the police were doing ?
It was surreal. They seemed more bothered about penning us in and randomly riding horses about in our midst than stuff like that being chucked. I was near the back so was fine in terms of missiles but being trampled by a police horse or going under the wheels of a coach as they funnelled us around for no obvious benefit was a genuine concern. Another top policing job 👍

Comedy gold. Every time you've given us 5500 we've sold out. 2008, 2010, 2013. Fact.

After our recent good fortune (6-1) I’d be surprised if there’s any tickets left by now (unless PNE have increased the 2.2k allocation). I’m not able to apply until Saturday morning, so if I get a ticket I’ll consider myself lucky, although my missus doesn’t want me to go to DD in case there’s any trouble.

Why would we?
I accept that there is good and bad in all clubs support but some, not all, but a larger majority than most travelling fans from your club are utterly reprehensible.
They don't even watch the game, they just stand, gurning and slavering whilst gesticulating like orcs....
Yep, there's good and bad on both sides.

But tbf we aren't calling ourselves the gentry. When you see a lot of their knuckle draggers it's so far removed from the gentry it's laughable.

Probably come from one of the many shitty Preston estates. Lets be clear, Blackpool has some massive issues and problem areas, but also has nicer areas visitors never see. I think Preston has some nicer areas but it does have a lot of council estates.

When would we have sold more than 3k?

There's only really Blackburn away thats likely to or able to attract more than that.

We had our game moved from a weekend to a weeknight and were in terrible form struggling near the bottom of the table until a scabby win days before.

If your going to brag about attendances at least mention the key reasons.

The main ones being you did a very cheap ST deal and also give away FREE ST for all under 11's.

You had similar crowds to us the season before and it was free then too for under 11's.

So let's not get too excited.

It's pretty obvious that in a terrible season at high prices, attendances won't be anything to shout about.

The away ones are again completely obvious.

You've been winning most the away games with one of the best away records, so clearly that'll encourage people to go, especially when you've been up near the playoffs. We've been down at the bottom and struggling under a manager most didn't like.

The fact you don't even mention this and seek to draw a direct comparison of very different circumstances shows your bias and desperation to win this argument. You say we exaggerate and lie.. but I'd be the first to say to people on here, let's not get too excited, we've basically given tickets away and they are right near the bottom, so less attending is normal.

Under similar circumstances the figures would be far closer.

I will say though, it's quite funny how much more money BFC generated than you last season, given you've been in the championship so long, it was a pathetic amount.

Has the tosser ever been to an away game there's often seven of us and sometimes squeeze into 3/4 seats to be together or like the photo stand in the aisles.
No need for the names pal, not here on a wind up, Just pointing out there were empty seats there.
