You Seasiders do bloody exaggerate .
3,000 away fans is the most you sold this season you crowds are piss poor admit it . Why should we give you 5,500 when you can’t sell them .
A lot of our stadium is red for your match already . One block sold out in the kop & it’s on tv & capacity set at 20,000
Our average home gate is over 15,300 and we have you rovers & Sunderland to come in our last 4 matches.
Your average home gate is 11,500 & it’s well known away fans love coming to Blackpool for a party Coventry have sold out for Saturday about 1,000 came to deepdale .
We are are all small clubs in Lancashire but our away following is 8th highest in the championship at over 1,700
Yours is about 1,000 .
When would we have sold more than 3k?
There's only really Blackburn away thats likely to or able to attract more than that.
We had our game moved from a weekend to a weeknight and were in terrible form struggling near the bottom of the table until a scabby win days before.
If your going to brag about attendances at least mention the key reasons.
The main ones being you did a very cheap ST deal and also give away FREE ST for all under 11's.
You had similar crowds to us the season before and it was free then too for under 11's.
So let's not get too excited.
It's pretty obvious that in a terrible season at high prices, attendances won't be anything to shout about.
The away ones are again completely obvious.
You've been winning most the away games with one of the best away records, so clearly that'll encourage people to go, especially when you've been up near the playoffs. We've been down at the bottom and struggling under a manager most didn't like.
The fact you don't even mention this and seek to draw a direct comparison of very different circumstances shows your bias and desperation to win this argument. You say we exaggerate and lie.. but I'd be the first to say to people on here, let's not get too excited, we've basically given tickets away and they are right near the bottom, so less attending is normal.
Under similar circumstances the figures would be far closer.
I will say though, it's quite funny how much more money BFC generated than you last season, given you've been in the championship so long, it was a pathetic amount.
