Preston - Crisis?

I seem to remember a post of accounts of an article demonstrating PNE had Hedged their bets and really gone for it this season (Premiership)….

They're 6th in a tight Division and by no mean guaranteed a Play-Off spot.

From what I understand, their financials don't look great and they have invested heavily... What happens if they don't make it? What happens if games are behind closed doors and there is no income into the club?

Also from a playing perspective - a few weeks out (minimum) is almost like pressing the reset button, form goes out the window...

None of our concern really, but as long as they snuff it - again, I'm happy.

I think this is the interesting part of the post (a but like everyone else, I couldn't really care less about Preston), however it does throw up an interesting scenario that actually some teams might just hit the ground running and go on and win promotion and similarly lose form and blow it.

Just a shame we're in no man's Land and it won't really matter either way.
