Price of a Pint O/T

Every credit to Wetherspoons for not going down the same route.👍
Never been a fan but you have to say, we could do with more of them atm! Went to Leeds to watch Thunder the other week, drank in Wetherspoons on Park Row drinking decent beer at £1.68 a pint! Went to Glasgow to watch Queen on Friday and sat in a pub near the gig drinking bang average lager at £6.95 a pint!

£6.50 for a pint of Moretti in Newbury, ales are £4.50, unless you go to Wetherspoons. Wine and spirits are a joke, to enjoy a nice, large, glass of red at the Lock Stock & Barrel you are looking at £9, same again if you fancy a double G&T. Roll on July and my move to the Fylde Coast.

Then you get sprayed by pool fans at away grounds they must be loaded. Do not mind it as long as i am not paying. Is it possibly because as you get older you get tighter with the old cash.

Yeah let's all stay in and twitch the curtains
No surprise the one person who gave them a like wasn't that long ago Ollygon was calling us all idiots for going to the pub.

Sad gets with no social life or friends.

My local is under 2.50 for Bitter or Lager but sadly don't use it as often as I should wife would rather go out for a meal so just meet my pal once a fortnight.
That's the problem unless you do food your going to struggle and they then have to charge more for the pint.

Was in Hebden Bridge at the weekend for a night out and brewery tap houses like vocation and nightjar were about 4 quid a pint but if you wanted heavywight tackle at 10% plus then it was 8 to 10 quid for this special stuff

It just depends where you are, Stella 4 is 2.30 at the golf club which I do t think is bad at all

I purchased 2 x pins (2 x 5 litres) from Saltaire Brewery for our party last Friday £33.00. I still have one of them so it'll take me more than one session to finish it. 🍻

Daughter just back from Dublin was £14 for a double whisky and £18 with a mixer
Tequila rose shot was £9( a full bottle only costs £12 here)
Was £25 for 4 jagerbombs ( tenner here)
Ridiculous prices

Had a pint of Madri last night £3.30 lovely and now a nice pint of JH's Crystal Diamond lager for £3.40 in sunny Stretford

It is bizarre that a pint in Manchester is roughly about £1.50 a pint cheaper than where i live

Apart for spoons where is the cheapest pint beer /larger on the Fylde coast
Spoons isn't cheap in Blackpool yes they have a cheap pint normally Ruddles and Carlsberg but there are far cheaper places.
Hogarth's on Clifton st under £3 a pint.
Topping st has a few pubs on it including The Washington all reasonable then your going away from town with loads of pubs cheap mine is 2.20 for Bitter.

Bloomfield road at 3.50 is bloody cheap can't remember an away ground last season close to that.😁

£2 for the best pint of Wainwright's ale you ever had in my local village club in Semi-Ruralshire

£3.29,£3.49.£3.89........draught San Miguel. Lytham,St.annes and Blackpool. Wetherspoons within the last month.

Just back from a week in Scotland.
Session strength ale (3.5-4%) about £4 a pint in the towns we went to (Dearer in Glasgow) * cheaper in the ‘spoons.
Festival we went to was £1.40 for token which got you a minimum of a third of a pint. One beer was 4 tokens for a third of a pint !

Stayed around Brentford at last year's play-off final. Drank in Richmond and Brentford at an average of 4.90 a pint. On match day it was more of the same except for when we got off the train at Wembley Central and caught a quick pint in the Spoons. £2.50 for a good pint of Rev James.
