Listening to the BBCs Americast with Emily Maitlis and John Sopel, they interview a New York attorney that suggests this settlement has saved PA a shit load of money by not going to court.

To suggest Giuffre fold is laughable.
 
Papers arereporting the settlement is as much as £12 million pounds, plus a substantial donation to her charity. £4 million per alleged shag must make her the most expensive prostitute ever.

She is legal at 16 in the U.K. and in that infamous photo, she certainly didn’t look as if she had been forced to be there. The question for me is did she consent to sex? If she didn’t it’s rape and that’s never been mentioned.

Andrew denies he met her and the photo is a fake.

The 21st century and still women have to justify everything.

Grooming over a long period of time blurs the lines between coercion and consent. Why do some people not get that?

The age of consent is 16 but it is not legal in the UK for a person to be trafficked for sexual activity and yes she was a minor.
You clearly don't understand or don't want to acknowledge the power imbalances at play here. Is it normal behaviour for a 17 year old to have consensual sex with middle aged men?

That accords with my view and the various reports I have read include both payment of damages to VG and a donation to her charity

oh I clearly do understand, but do you honestly believe that young girls don’t actually seek out rich and powerful men? If you don’t, you must live a very sheltered life.

HMQs revenue for some properties, in Scotland I think, has brought in £23M.
Don't think paying Andys' bill will affect her bank balance.

HMQ has a lot of running expenses on her private properties, such as Balmoral and Sandringham.
That’s £12 million she may not have this year to meet those expenses. I wonder if any estate workers will get laid off?

And from where did Prince Andrew accumulate £18 million to buy a Verbier ski lodge? ... on a Royal Navy pension for a Vice-Admiral of £20k pa for about 20-odd years service and a Civil List allowance of about £250k pa from HMQ. But a lot of the Verbier lodge was funded by mortgages allegedly. I suppose some could have come from the £15 mill the son-in-law of a Kazakh dictator paid for his crumbling old house in Windsor Great Park.

When HMQ is no longer with us, I think King Charles will terminate the annual £250k allowance as well.
PA will still have a nice house, car and food but that’s about it.
He will dare not leave the UK in case a country extradites him to the USA.

That would be traditional, I suppose. The Duke of Windsor was made Governor of the Bahamas during WW2 to keep him out of the way. But PA is far too toxic for any official or representative position.
 
Telegraph is reporting ex-HRH has agreed never to repeat his previous claims that he didn’t rape her as part of the settlement
It’s also being reported that the agreement only requires VG to maintain her silence until after the Jubilee celebrations whilst the MP for Central York is stepping up the campaign for the City to severe links to ex-HRH by seeking the withdrawal of his dukedom

I would have expected some form of gagging order on VG as part of the settlement to stop her gaining vast sums of money from books and TV post the jubilee otherwise this will be never ending for the monarchy! Having said that PA has never met VG and 'that' photo has been doctored 🥴🥴🥴🥴
 
PA associated with Epstein and Maxwell for at least 12 years and had known Maxwell since the 80s. Apparently, E&M had dozens of young victims over many years. How many more might come forward now? Also, it has gone very quiet on the GM prospects for sentencing, presumably awaiting the outcome of her appeal. But if that fails will she provide more evidence to the court and cops for mitigation?
