Reports coming out of France are saying that PSG have been awarded the title. Final standings have been worked out using average points per game.
PSG currently stand 11 points clear with 11 games to go. The race for a Champions League spot is much tighter, as is the relegation battle. But the current bottom two sides, Amiens and Toulouse, have been relegated. Amiens are only 4 points behind Nimes with 10 games to go. Possible legal challenges? Is this the way all the European Leagues are going to go?

I agree Jaffa. It could be opening up a can of worms. Leagues have been told by UEFA they have to have final standings for Champions and Europa Leagues qualifying for next season. Are they so sure there's going to be European competitions next year?

Total farce top and bottom I presume the higher up your position the more prize money in the league you get.
How a season can be finished and positions given out with so many games to go where you could have had an advantage by playing weaker sides or not.

I agree poolseasider. But that's what it might come to with UEFA putting pressure on for league positions. If they adopt that here Villa would be relegated even though they're only two points behind Watford and West Ham with a game in hand. Likewise Bournemouth only behind on goal difference.
Far better to finish what you've started when it's safe to do so. Then work out a format for next season when this one is finished fairly.

They haven't even finished this seasons Champions league it has just been postponed yet countries are going to dish out places for next!

PSG are still in it no way that can resume till they start next season now if they do.

Every country like the pandemic is just doing want they want as there is no harmony between anyone and if that gets an unfair advantage then tough.
