I have no recollection of any of the goals in the games against Stoke or Vale. My only recollection of those games are the big followings from The Potteries. They both filled the kop and all of the East. I was sat in Q Block.Yes, I do. It was incredible. Was it when we lost to either Stoke or Port Vale in 92-93? I'm not sure why I think that. In my head we lost one of those game 4-2 and Trev 'scored' in one of them. I could be wrong. I'm sure it was against one the bigger away followings that season.
I remember it cos my dad went mental and was bouncing about for about 20 seconds longer than everyone else as he didn't realise it was ruled out.
I remember Super Trev goal at a rearranged FA cup game at Huddersfield where we then played QPR in the next round over 3 games I think.I have no recollection of any of the goals in the games against Stoke or Vale. Was that the one at Leeds Rd in the snow? On a Monday or Tuesday? If it's the one I'm thinking of, I went last minute and had a great night.I remember Super Trev goal at a rearranged FA cup game at Huddersfield where we then played QPR in the next round over 3 games I think.
You're right, it was Port Vale at the end of the 93 season, Trev lobbed their keeper from about 25 yards but the ref pulled it back for a free kick to us on Trev, bloody ridiculous decision, would have made it 3-3 and we lost 4-2.Yes, I do. One of my favourite seasons. Loads of big teams and big away followings. We went on a decent run in the New Year and stayed up. Beat West Brom 2-1 at home, amazing atmosphereYou're right, it was Port Vale at the end of the 93 season, Trev lobbed their keeper from about 25 yards but the ref pulled it back for a free kick to us on Trev, bloody ridiculous decision, would have made it 3-3 and we lost 4-2.
Stoke was earlier that season, they beat us 3-1 and won the league.
Pretty sure the Stoke game was waterlogged as well, I remember puddles...One of my favourite seasons. Loads of big teams and big away followings. We went on a decent run in the New Year and stayed up. Beat West Brom 2-1 at home, amazing atmosphere
It was amazing. That year seems right, I was around 15 at the time and it was the best goal I had ever seen.
I can't remember much of it. Nothing about what actually did stand. Like I say, I remember my dad for the Trev disallowed one cos I was dead embarrassed!I have no recollection of any of the goals in the games against Stoke or Vale. I can only remember one Stoke goal, a weird little header in front of the South, don't remember any in the Port Vale game except Trev's non goal.It was amazing.

All I remember about Stoke was we got beaten quite easily and they had what seemed like millions there.I can only remember one Stoke goal, a weird little header in front of the South, don't remember any in the Port Vale game except Trev's non goal.
Yep it pissed it down and half of those on the Kop ran across the pitch and into the Scatching Sheds.Pretty sure the Stoke game was waterlogged as well, I remember puddles...
Yep, last minute past Grobbelaar, daylight robbery really although my Dad reckoned we played well, kept us up, it was lively, who knew Stoke residents had that many coins to throw?Yep it pissed it down and half of those on the Kop ran across the pitch and into the Scatching Sheds.
Beat them 1-0 at their place near the end of the season. Tricky Trev….
