So currently in Alnwick, which is lovely.
Tomorrow we have a train journey booked to Edinburgh from Alnmouth. By the time of our return journey around 6pm tomorrow the wind in Edinburgh has a weather warning for 56 mph.
In your opinion could these speed gusts lead to rail cancellations etc ? Asking because if we are there and our return is cancelled then it would be about £170 to get back to Alnwick in an Uber, and that’s probably not what we want to pay out because of a cancelled train
What would you do, play it safe and mull around in Alnwick and the surrounding area, or take a risk and go to Edinburgh for the day ?
We have the cottage in Alnwick until Wednesday morning .
