Looking, or possibly not now, a second hand one. About 25k budget.Well there’s a Tangerine exile who is a director of JLR based in Germany.
Are you looking at new or second hand. If you are going to a branded dealership Kentdale in south Lakes (Kendal) are very good. The others like Inchape are shockingly bad.
Yep, go out to the deserts in the Middle East and they are all Toyota Land Cruisers. Accept no substitute if your life depends upon it.… buy a Land Cruiser instead.
My Father-in-Law worked throughout Africa, S. America and the Far East for over 40 years in the timber industry.Yep, go out to the deserts in the Middle East and they are all Toyota Land Cruisers. Accept no substitute if your life depends upon it.
Get yourself a blue badge for the double yelllows but you’ll be competing with the Panameras and Cayennes.Must admit I was thinking of a used one after the new reg comes out probably late March. I've read similar horror stories as above so I'd only go for a 1 owner, v low miles, dealer with extended (real) warranty.
It had struck me that later models have improved on reliability and the insurance was nowhere near as prohibitive as suggested.
Would put a private plate on- D19BFC has now gone- and would park opposite The Taps for that special half of shandy.
I hope that was all Mrs TAM had that went into limp mode!My missus had an evoque
It had this weird way particle filter that clogged up if you didn't drive it for long enough for it to get hot and it then went into limp mode
So basically you were told you had to drive it regularly on the motorway or it was useless
Looked great but got rid
I should have added I have an E Class Mercedes, a 23 plate from new. I’d say the Range Rover and Discovery have had fewer faults/snags.I had a 2015 Range Rover, kept it for 3 years and had few issues . Went for another Discovery when I traded it in (my 4th) for the longer wheelbase and bigger boot for my Labrador, 7 seats too when needed. But both lovely vehicles that I adore driving. I guess I’m now hooked.
My daughter has the same model and was given the same advice after it going to the garage twice for costly repairs. Every 2 weeks she now does a motorway run to Lancaster and back and so far it has been ok.My missus had an evoque

Get a Honda my little insight is 13 years old i have had it nearly 8 years never let me down only 63000 Km on the clock had two new tyres and two batteries (one new recently) in the time i had it.If you spend more than 15k on a car you're a clown. They are a ridiculous depreciating asset, I'd sooner have a load of cash in the bank and drive something basic than have nothing in the bank and drive around in a 50k car. The wet wipes who pay 500 quid plus a month on a lease car should have their license revoked due to a lack of brain power.
I thought about getting an electric car or a pickup through my business, that lasted about 30 seconds when I saw the figures, eye-watering nonsense.
Pr1v4t3 probably so won't know the ageWhat plate is it on?
