I sold that for north of GBP100 about ten years ago....but yes, probably fetch a lot more now....Never seen that before. Bet that's worth a few quid.
Hi everyone, think my comment applies to this thread, I'm actually quite new to the club only really started supporting them in 2017 due to not having a single clue about football and living about 200 miles away from Blackpool but my dad and grandad were born there and they both support them so as soon as I found out I knew I had to be a seasider, this season I bought my first shirt, ended up buying all of them including the 3rd and GK's, treated myself to a mask as well! I would really like a retro kit at some point but I'm not really sure what to look for, The bass ones are my favorite but if I'm honest they all look great, being 15 and have not been to a game yet I don't know a lot about the club so I'm sorry if I sound plastic was meant to go this season but that turned well! But hopefully, people can guide me in the right direction fo what to look for and thank you for allowing me to be apart of this forum, sorry for the long message, have a good one!
I agree I was tempted by the retro ones the club had, but they looked like they were made quite cheap. Most clubs are selling their 80's and 90's retro shirts, the club would really make quite a bit of money!Your best bet is ebay.
I think the club would make a killing if they re-produced replicas from the 80s and 90s.
I am not sure about that. But the Bolton shirts were definitely silk (and shiny) and, allegedly, there were a few pointed remarks between players in the tunnel before they walked out onto the pitch.I have no idea why TOFFS made that shirt out of such awful material. The 1953 Umbro shirt was actually made out of silk.
You are correct, only Blackpool's shorts were made of silk and made by Bukta.I am not sure about that. But the Bolton shirts were definitely silk (and shiny) and, allegedly, there were a few pointed remarks between players in the tunnel before they walked out onto the pitch.
Sold a Gola one with no sponsor for £100 a few years ago.No way that Gola shirt is worth £125. Seen them go for £60 in good condition. No way they will get that!
You should stick a photograph of here.As part of my lockdown tidy up I had a look through my Blackpool shirts. I've 44. They're not for sale
Fair playSold a Gola one with no sponsor for £100 a few years ago.
Donated the funds to The Gary Pakinson Trust fund.Fair play
If they did the Umbro ones with the Tower logo I would agree .Your best bet is ebay.

I salivate just looking at it!This was the very shirtView attachment 4292
Yep I've seen lots of clubs now getting on the retro shirt wagon - if the club could do it officially they'd make loads of money off some of our retro ones. The 89/90 would sell like hot cakes!the club need to make a move on these retro shirts because other companies are doing a couple now.
Found this recently,a naff attempt in my opinion but id rather the money went to BFC and they can do a proper replica with the correct crests and colourways.
I've quite a few of the Village sponsored ones from a few seasons back, bought then up cheap in a sale, like sitting on gold when they shoot up in value soon
