Retro shirts

I'd guess the Umbro shirt will be difficult as none of these 'retro' remakes have the kit manufacturers on then. No point making a replica of Umbro without the diamonds.

I’d have thought they would need permission from the kit manufacturer to do a remake which of course wouldn’t be a problem with the Bass and Vaux shirts (MGC Sports). So it’s a surprise the inenco shirt was a chosen one (Gola).

My Vaux shirt is Cavendish Sports. I think they were the same company?

Mine is MGC and a sort of salmon colour and made with the thinnest material known to man. Pretty sure one season the away shirt was MGC and home was Cavendish?

Anyway,. the Gola shirts were MILES better, still got a sponsor free one which is boulder burned to buggery.

My Gola shirt is EXACTLY the same. No sponsor and a lovely boulder burn in it🤣

There are retro England World Cup Italia 90 shirts, the originals were umbro but the replicas aren't and have single line diamonds

Most of those are dodgy knock offs, show me an official site that sells them? I've only ever seen them on Ebay and Etsy, that's where I had to get mine from. 😄

I have just emailed the company to say that there is a photo of the team wearing the 'Belgium' kit in Roy Calley's Blackpool the Complete Record. It's on p.20 of my edition. There is no badge and the colour bands are wider than those depicted on the replica.

That’s what put me off buying it I wasn’t too sure on that badge
 
Anyone on here buy one today? Any idea if the sizing is the same as our current home kit - I’ve been getting one size up with Puma to what I usually get. Will be ordering online so appreciate any feedback on the fit

I bought an XXL after trying it on which is the same size I get for the Puma replica shirts. Retro shirts are a touch roomier but there's not much in it so I'd just go with whatever size you opted for with the Puma shirts
