I think you have that rightHe’s 33 now and has had many years with them, they know exactly the type of player he is and what he offers. It’s not like a young prospect who’s suddenly excelled in the division below and would now be an asset.
Huddersfield chose to let him move on for a season, any recall would be (in my opinion) a safety net for injuries. I can’t imagine Rhodes would even want to go back unless he’s a guaranteed starter?
Yeah I dont think he could play for another club only us and HuddersfieldAm I right in thinking that, because he played it the EFL cup for them, if they recalled him he would only eligible to play for them?

He doesn't have to agree to a recall, he's under contract to udders.https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/s...-exit-following-fresh-pre-season-development/
Reading between the lines in this from July it would suggest that too many bridges have been burnt between Huddersfield and Rhodes.
He was obviously looking to get away due to lack of game time and find a Club where he could feel the love.
As said above he can only play for us or Huddersfield this season and in the circumstances he is unlikely to want to return there or even agree to a recall.
Yes.. I get that.He doesn't have to agree to a recall, he's under contract to udders.
Yes he has to. However he can make his displeasure clear to them, especially if he’s ooc in summer.Maybe he’ll fancy a crack in the higher division.Yes.. I get that.
IF there is a recall clause and Huddersfield choose to implement it he goes back regardless of whether he agrees or not.
If they recall him, against his will, he could be as much use to them as Stewart was to us.Yes he has to. However he can make his displeasure clear to them, especially if he’s ooc in summer.Maybe he’ll fancy a crack in the higher division.
What happens happens BFC will know either way with plenty of time to be proactive.
Well well some communication. Pity I don't do Twatter or X
Good to get some communication confirming.
Radio Lancs have been great in filling the void left by Scrafton's departure this season, tbf.Good to get some communication confirming.
So it's a season long loan, but Huddersfield can recall from January, just got to pray he stays on beyond January.
Fully agree with that.Radio Lancs have been great in filling the void left by Scrafton's departure this season, tbf.
anyone confirm or otherwise the rumours that Huddersfield have a built in recall option on Rhodes? I’ve not heard anything but apparently that Nixon has put it out there?
You don't need to, click the text and it'll go to twitter and you can then play it.Well well some communication. Pity I don't do Twatter or X
Yeah I know but I meant I didn't subscribe to it so I didn't see it apart from on here. You don't need to, click the text and it'll go to twitter and you can then play it.
So nixon is just putting out there something that obvious, looking for his new subscribers.
Not done it in the Championship which is why he came to us.
If he went back to the Championship he's taking up a place of someone who might be more capable.
Two very different leagues and any manager being asked that question would reply in the same way.
