Unfortunately, as I have said before, pace is something you can’t train into anybody, either you are quick or not. Rhys seemed to have all the other assets, but in the top 2 divisions a lack of it is soon exposed.
True AR and you need to be in the modern game but Sir Bobby Moore wasn’t quick in his day.
But speed can be compensated by reading the game better.

Yep agree with that. Awful when he first came to us but did gradually get better. As you say probably a step too far too soon.
