Richard Tice and some bloke from the Reform party at today's match..

I presume that's my quote as you somehow cut me out of it 🤦‍♂️

Have you not heard, hotels are being filled at extortionate costs.

It's only about 8 million quid a day though, so nothing to worry about.
I'm aware of refugees being housed whilst their eligibility is assessed, as per international law, and many of those are, especially in Blackpool, Afgans that worked for the UK military.
I'd imagine refugee accomodation would be a really silly place for illegals to hide from the authorities. You'd expect them to be found and arrested fairly quickly if they were that stupid. 🤣

Think of all the fortunate hotel owners and their staff who are benefiting from our largesse after several years of Covid-induced parsimony. They do say every cloud has a silver lining.

If they’ve crossed by a dodgy boat they aren't legal are they.

Not all illegals go missing, but yes some do.

However many know with no documents there's little point in running as they'll be housed in hotels until they are placed elsewhere and not sent back anywhere.

The whole costs are ridiculous.

They're completely legal if they present themselves to the authorities requesting asylum! They're illegal if they don't or if they later disappear but then they don't cost us anything unless they're caught and subsequently deported.

Were not on about any coming by safe and legal routes, but illegal crossings.

The ones coming aren't coming from a war torn region, but from France.

We shouldn't be paying out silly money to house these people who shouldn't be here

Let's not pretend there's no cost or risk either, as we don't know who they are.

The ones who go missing could be anyone too and of course they cost us, they have to go somewhere and use services etc, many will end up in criminal activity.

Mark has probably done more for the poor people in Blackpool than every fucker on this site put together

He's a Blackpool lad who has done a sh!t loads of charity work in the town

No surprise to see the not so liberals having a pop though
Good on him.

Shame about his right wing politics or he could have become an MP.

And it's not just a few lefties on here. It's most of the UK. Unlucky.

And there is possibly nobody that has raised more money for local charity than me on this site. But I don't go on about it because it's my business.

What right wing politics?

Like actually honoring some of the policies the Tories stood and got elected on, stopping the boats, ridiculous levels of immigration etc.

Many would actually chime with many on here... 50% nationalisation of utilities...stopping the release of sewage into rivers and seas.

You can see their priorities on this pic, including lifting paying tax to 20k I think it is.

How are they paying for it?

Let's face it a government really wanted to stop this illegal imagination they could do it tonight
It pays to put all the attention on a few thousand in boats while giving visas to 1.5 million last year.

Stop the visas and the perceived overcrowding stops immediately, but too many on the gravy train of student visas (750,000) for starters.
