It is with great sadness that on Saturday 20th May, Geoff Whalley sadly passed away surrounded by his wife of many years and his daughter.
Geoff was an avid Blackpool fan and a season ticket holder in the west stand and had followed the ups and downs of the Seasiders since childhood.
Geoff worked at BAE Systems / British Aerospace throughout his working life, and could often be seen at the local flying club.
In his later years, Geoff was a prominent member of Lytham Bowling Club where he'd often compere events.
His passing leaves a big hole in the hearts of those that knew him and he will be sorely, sorely missed.
