Ruben Rodriguez

Quite simple really.

He knew that going back puts extra pressure on any returnee. Therefore he looked at loads of other candidates BUT they didn't have the credentials Neil had.

Therefore, due diligence was done and the right man, in his opinion, was chosen.
The right man, in his opinion was Appleton, that went well.

Gives you another stick to beat him with Pete 👍
Can't help it Straighters, I think he's okay on the infrastructure side but as for the football side I think he is ** useless to be honest and if he fucks it up this season then I won't be alone in that. I think he may turn it round but not holding my breath. I'm not going to start changing my mind just because people on here don't agree with me, it's how I feel and I hope he convinces me otherwise because we don't want the upheaval at the club again.

For the hard of thinking, I am not comparing him to the vermin, there is no, and never will be any comparison, they were one offs and thankfully gone forever. But I won't hail him as the second coming just because he's bought the club and thrown some money at it. 4 years on, still in League 1, gone back for a previous manager again, took on MA then McSaurus and back to Quitch, fucked up the last 3 transfer windows, wasted money, lost a CEO, his mate and head of recruitment x 2 so for me he has to start acting like he knows what he is doing and this season will show us one way or the other.

Or was that the opinion of Appy's former agent who has now left us.
It was very much Sadler's choice, Mansford didn't want him is what I heard. When Quitchley left the door was always going to be open by Sadler but Mansford didn't want him back at all.

I think we need to see how this season pans out. Transfers, season ticket sales, reinvestment, position in the league, style of play plus some positive news on the TG and East stand for those who keep saying how much he is going to spend on that. The East has to be done, so I understand that but the TG cost is very high and I think unachievable so why not cut the costs and still provide something that will be up to standard? To be honest it's all irrelevant if we have a poor season, I am hoping we can finish top for once!

You made it up, just like you made up the link to Matt Clarke in January
Clarke came for a medical- failed due to a back injury that had plagued him.

I've given you the source for the Rodriguez info (Paul Hart son) I had whereas many won't divulge what came from where, I happily will.

Just because the outcome didn't favour BFC no need to be all snipey about it. It's football these things happen.
