I appreciate what you’re saying but overall, both Hardie and Nuttall only had chances in a team that was not a patch on Critch’s improvements.
Hardie (imho) was being asked to be a striker that was not natural for him. He wasn’t happy here, so it was in everyone’s interest for him to go elsewhere.
Nuttall arrived with bags of potential but (allegedly) he was having trouble adapting to us. Then injuries. I’d like to think, if Critch gets him going, we might have a player. Think about his winner against Bolton! However, the next 6 months could well be the making or breaking of him. Last chance saloon?
 
Whether Nuttall can regenerate his career under the new management who do seem to be getting the most of the players in their charge is open to question but so far as a striker he has had 27 appearances for us and scored 2 goals and when I have seen him in a few of those games he has played very poorly whilst Hardie had far fewer opportunities and is now proving his worth it seems.
 
Unfortunate to come here in our transition period and probably didn't get a fair chance but pleased for him that he's doing well now.
 
Shame Hardie never got a decent run in the team really, think he would have done well under Critch last season. Good to see him doing well
 
Sounds like he's got a few faces to his game as well. Scores with both feet, head and has assists. Obviously been worked on at Plymouth wonder what Critch could have done with him.
Hope he goes on to have a storming season. Any sell on clause?
 
Hardie is a good player and was always surprised he didn't fit in. Would have been a good asset to our side. Must wonder what he did wrong.

Critch could have kept him as he was our player when Critch came. Hardie was probably keen to go in the close season though and Critch didn't want to stand in his way.
