Ryan Hardie

He barely started any games for Plymouth in League Two, albeit scored a few from off the bench. Does that make him a certain starter in League One?

It makes him Messi if you read some of the opinions on here.

I cant think of a single moment when watching Hardie , where i thought , he could be ok.

Then why are a League 1 rival desperate to sign him ? With respect i trust professional football people to know what they're doing 99.99% of the time.

Makes sense to me to loan him out.

He could score a hat full between now and January and we recall him to play in our team if we're struggling for goals or with injuries.

He could score a hat full but we don't need him back as we have already won the league by January 🤪 so we get him back and take the 12 month option on him and sell him on - same as Rotherham did with Yates.

Because he's cheap maybe. 🤔
There's literally hundreds / thousands of out of contract players.... if they wanted cheap they wouldn't be going for a contracted player at a divisional rival, with 2 years of contract left to run who's just scored goals to win promotion from the league below - it's hardly like Hardie is going to unwanted elsewhere ?

If they are that desperate for his signature put your money where you mouth is and put a bid in for him and if they can't afford to tough otherwise STFU.

Argyle fan in peace. Well it looks as though Ryan is returning to us albeit on a season long loan. Apart from paper talk it has been predicted down here on our forum by a poster that is normally correct with what he says. Last season we played 3 5 1 or sometimes 3 4 3. Typically we played with two number 10 type players instead if a traditional 9 and 10. This suited him using his speed and turning cente halves. He only played one match of 90 minutes for us and mainly came on against a tiring defence. What would inexpect of him this season. Well he wont be guaranteed a starting place although that doesnt really matter as Lowe tends to change both forwards during the match.
Wishing you luck in the season apart from when you play us and hope to be up there this season

All I will say now the deal is done is that I didn't rate him when he was with us and maybe he just fits in with Plymouth which some players can do,
