Quite a bit to update on injuries, so here goes... Richard Keogh is unlikely to be fit for Swansea on Saturday, but should return at some point next week. Luke Garbutt is going to be out for weeks rather than days with medial ligament damage.

Chris Maxwell and Shayne Lavery are both back in training, but Lavery is a little ahead of Maxwell at the moment. It's now about finding the right time to re-introduce them both.

Dujon Sterling is back in training, but Kevin Stewart is still having trouble with his ankle and Olivery Casey injured his ligament during last week’s friendly. CJ Hamilton came through that game okay though and has no further issues. Kenny Dougall is back in training today.

Was hoping Shayne would be back for Saturday, even if on the bench. Hopefully he'll make at least one of the upcoming 3.

I could see CJ making his way to the bench on Saturday. Sounds like a bad one for Garbs, shame for him as he's been finding his feet recently. Luckily we have strong left side cover. Stewart must be properly fed up. No footballer wants to be injury prone.

Having played in the internationals, maybe the Viking will make a start at Swansea.
The bench looks like being a strong one, which is always welcome news.
Garbs staying on the field when he was clearly badly injured, may not have been the wisest decision.

Must be mentally draining for Kevin Stewart. His livelihood could be at stake. I'm glad he's only 6 months into his 2 year deal. I really hope the club medics can get the lad fit but it's not a good record. He does seem to have glass ankles.

Personally i thought Garbett had been a bit below par before his injury. Hope its not too bad an injury though.

It does seem like Stewart has struggled with his ankles for some time, even back in his Liverpool days, such a shame for him as he's a quality player when fit and you have to worry for his career.

Would be interested to see if the Viking gets a chance but James did well at LB and Husband seems to have earnt Critch's trust so he might have to settle for the bench.

Good to hear Shayne is close but I'd like to have him 100% before bringing him back with it being a hamstring injury.

He has only made 139 appearances for 8 different clubs and is 28 years old. 😮

I'm presuming he was on good money at Liverpool, Spurs and even 'Ull City? I do fear for him though if he doesn't get fit in the next 4 or 5 months he will have to do what the rest of us do and get a proper job! 😉

Looks like he'll be okay:

The 27-year-old is about to complete his first project with the construction of a 48-flat student apartment block in Birmingham city centre.
The project , led by Stewart and a business partner, is said to be on course to generate a profit of £1.8m following an initial investment of around £300,000.
