Season over tonight thread.

Good results for us tonight but I just dont feel we a good enough to take it any further. Could it happen yes it could. Financially it would be good for Simon Sadler but I just dont feel our Coach can turn this arround IMO.

We beat Barnsley and we take it to the final day whatever
Now let's crank up the atmosphere on Saturday

Yep, regardless of being disappointing in many aspects this season, we're still just about there and can only try and win this game with full tangerine enthusiasm.

The sun will be out, tangerine looks sublime and at this time of year things just seem to shine on us and we rise to the occasions.

Neil Critchley will transform into Pep Guardiola, CJ into Mbappe and Beesley into Haaland.

It’s taken until last 2 matches for a bit of excitement. We can only go for it Saturday surely? He can’t set us up for a 1 0 , keep it ultra tight can he? Hopefully we will turn out in numbers and at least for 90 minutes support like we can.

Hmmm, he definitely could but as you say the fans will push the team on.

Oh shut up. Let’s go up and find out.

Yes I'm glad Saturday still has some relevance, but have you been on the pop? 😂

Possibly but our better hope is Oxford messing up and us winning our 2 games. Barnsley on Saturday now will be harder now they’re not yet safe in the playoffs
Simples! The players must just galvanise themselves, gird their loins, and set about their opponents as though their lives depend on it. And, anyone of them dares to engage in Critch's favoured choice of insipid, safe, timorous, tippy-tappy, risk-free, 'shiteball' against Barnsley on Saturday, and they should be exiled from the Gold Coast - FOR LIFE!!!

More like Pepsi and Mbopp by Hanson

Only if Oxford fail to beat Stevenage on Friday is there any realistic hope. For me it makes the season as a whole even more frustrating. Burton, Cheltenham away spring to mind. It's just too painful to invest now.

That said, wtf can you do about it now other than get behind the lads on Saturday. Hats off to those who still believe.

We stick a couple past Barnsley we can still go up if they draw final game.

Agree with most of that - just not so sure about the 'transformation' you are confidently expecting La Critch to undergo!

I mean, are we really expecting our very own 'leopard', at this late stage, to change its spots? No, me neither ...
