Why wouldn’t you if you are lucky enough to be able to afford it?
Lucky enough it's less than the cost of a weekend away.
You can spend your spare money on what you want but please leave the small violins for something under £400 for a season when half the country is walking around with clothes or mobile phones which cost more.

If by the end of the season he has sorted the team out and we look a good side but unfortunately due to our start to the season go down then why not? If the board don’t buy any players and we go into league 1 looking like a pile of poo then prob not. If he stays which is at this stage in proceedings with the window open it would be the sensible option, then judge him at the end of the season.

History. Busy posting on here during game time.
Really?
Sheff Utd game I was at home watching it on the fire stick as getting over Covid which I’ve had the last 2 weeks, I even commented it looked so one sided watching it on the TV, anyway I finally tested negative yesterday so went to the game today.
So go on list all the other home games I’ve supposedly posted during game time?
It you care to look my first comments today it was going on 6pm after I had got home which I think rather gives the game away don’t you?
Anyway no rush I’am in all night for you to put the “history” up otherwise you’ll be looking like a fool which you clearly are.

No unless see signs if progression like not playing strikers right wing etc.
We play a 433 or at least we try to. You technically don't play any wingers in that system. the fact that Appleton seems not to understand it, or fails to explain it to the players, is the main problem. The players take up winger positions when, to be effective, need to come in tighter allowing the wingbacks to overlap. Our team isn't usually good enough to play it effectively, no wing backs available being one reason, and it turns in to a 451 system, where wingers would be more preferable, and our striker is left stranded up front alone for large parts of the game!

Apologies. Mixed you up with another. All posts deleted. Lesson is not to post when ‘in drink’.

Not sure. Might do more away games being an exile. Pricey job on trains, and missing more games with the strikes so may not be financially viable, even if we stay up

Of course I would still buy a ST, but if Appleton is still here, I think it will be in league one.

Why do I think that ? Because he has had no success at championship level, and there are no signs that it will change anytime soon.

Unfortunately, he should never have been appointed, but he was and that's it. I support Blackpool come what may.

I will defo be getting one ,the last time I felt like not getting one was worthington time ,I’m fairly confident we won’t go down but if we did I will still buy one .

Difficult to say. A different manager and 100% will buy. Will likely still get a couple so me and the old man can go but in an ideal world it’d be a no to send a message to the board that this manager simply isn’t good enough and absolutely does not have my support - even if the club and players do.

Idiot

It's all you deserve with your constant negativity
Sorry. I understand it’s tough for someone as happy go lucky as yourself to have to read my negativity.

Just for a second imagine how frustrating it was reading your constant shite about Critchley when we actually were successful though.

x2 season tickets will be bought whatever manager we have or league we are in. Each to their own but whatever happens our commitment and enthusiasm will not change. Loathed it when we could not be there during the boycott years so will no way be missing out on a season ticket.

No but nothing to do with Appleton or whatever league we are in.

Simple fact is age ( i”ll be 72 in february and therefore 73 before next season ends) is catching up on me and already I am not doing the midweek night games. For other reasons( health and car issues on the day of the match ) I have in addition to all the evening games missed two other home games 6 in all missed so far.

I know others do far more travelling to home games than me but a120 mile round trip drive often in awful weather and at this time of year dark evenings/ nights which is not particularly enjoyable.

The train even if it is running is just too much hassle and at best means ( if I can get to Blackpool North in time which in itself is a challenge) not getting home before 7 30 and makes for a long day.

I have been doing this trip since 1977 so I have to say the least i have clocked up a lot of miles but in addition I promised my better half, who has been more than understanding,a few years back that when I got to 70 that would be it and yet I have renewed twice already. She especially worries when I drive over particularly at this time of year when the nights set in so early.

I will if they offer it take out the membership scheme and perhaps take in games on an ad hoc basis but to pay for 23 games knowing I am unlikely to make even 50 % of them doesn’t stack up in these difficult times when our bills and every day costs have rocketed.

My “ Love” for my football club will never end even if I can’t make games.Managers ( even owners, though i more than appreciate our current one) come and go but the club will always be there

If and it won’t happen I were to live on the Fylde Coast and could take public transport and not necessarily have to drive then I wouldn’t even hesitate to renew.

so I won’t cast a vote obviously.

He left us in a right mess and signed as many duffers as good players

BTW I didn't want Critchley as I wanted someone more experienced, Critchley left at the first possible opportunity even after the board stuck with him and gave him everything he wanted

So I was proven right

He was successful. If anything he proved you wrong.

Agree Phil, that’s what really pissed me off that it was supposed to be a long term project 5 years or so and off he went and left us in the shit .That’s why I’m not bothered about someone kissing the badge and running over to the fans clapping ,I just want the to keep improving the team, but the hierarchy have let us down so far .

Critchley did well for us the stats prove it. Anyone who thinks there’s much loyalty in football is rather naive it’s more about ££££££

Why would I not buy. I'm a Blackpool FC fan not a manager fan. Whoever that manager is and whatever division we are in I'll always be a BFC fan.
