I'll be here no matter what, I wouldn't exactly excited about it of Critchley is still the manager. My daughter is debating it though.

We need a poll on whether we’ve enjoyed Critchley mkII & the tactical expertise he’s implemented.😩 As for a ST I’ll probably renew but nothing to do with the manager. Simply because I’m a Pool fan. It would possibly make more sense to either buy individual tickets or share a ST because we go away quite often.
Sorry I didn’t see that particular option.

Listened to the SS interview in the car today.
ELRL: Aim for this season?
SS - Promotion
RL- And if Neil.doesnt achieve that
SS: Then he'll have to next season.

Not ad verbatim but from memory.
Sadler has appointed coaches after their recent failure in previous jobs elsewhere:
●Grayson
●Appleton
●McCarthy
●Critchley

The owner's move to retain the incumbent for another season would invoke Einstein:

"Anyone who repeats a failed action, but seeks a different outcome, renders himself insane."

SS and NC must feel that it is not needed, does that mean that every manager in every league in the country outside of play off positions are failing?
Pundits expect those down from the second tier to vie for immediate return

Blackpool ranks among League One clubs with the highest budgets for players.

Underperformance?

it often sees the coach out the door.

Renew whatever because it’s like some sort of horrible addiction, you can get gum, patches and the rest to stop smoking, you can go to AA & have some weird device fitted to help you stop drinking, over eating and obesity and some sort of elastic band fitted on your stomach, depression tablets and counselling can help, transplants etc for all sorts of other things bla bla bla ** blah, I have no idea how to get cured from this pretty much constant disappointment,I don’t want to be like Man City it’d be boring but with us I find in recent years it’s the hope that gets you down take Saturday then last night as an example, totally pi polar performances, my football fix this year is limited to watching & enjoying dembele while we’ve still got him & just enjoying it without the stress of thinking we can make the playoffs

Just because SS indicated NC will be here next season it doesn’t mean he will be. He’s hardly going to say ‘if he doesn’t get us in the playoffs I’m going to sack him’.

He’s obviously a big fan of Neil so I think he was telling the truth. 😒

Yeah i agree with that to a point, just because we have one of the highest budgets because of us being in the championship doesn't mean we should go straight back up, the two league's are different, this is a more physical league can our players handle that?
Personally IMO our coach wont be going anywhere, and we have to give him another season at least.

I Have 3 . I grandson won't want one he,s ,fed up .I will keep mine out of habit and meeting up with old mates and the 3rd is a matter of debate on how many times it will be used. Disappointing but most of the football has been underwhelming.
I make the exception of JR early part of the season and Dembele later.

Well I had a season ticket for the re election season 82/83 , ( see other thread ) when crowds were less than 2,000 , and then still got one the next season . Take a bit more than our current circumstances to stop me buying one .
Fair comment ansdellmafia.

Supporters bemoaned "little Blackpool" views from Sadler's earlier coaches.

The owner's poor appointments for the role indeed betray "little Blackpool".

Yet a big attitude under Holloway made his squad rival fans' second favourites.

A club that:
●played three successive top tier decades.
●achieved four best-six finishes there.
●secured the runners-up spot one season.
●reached three FA Cup finals.
●won perhaps the greatest ever final.
●once had four players in England's team.
●saw the first Ballon d'Or go to Matthews.

Critchley for another season, at least?

Cue the fact that the boycott only began years after Oyscum's asset strip.

And even then a sizeable number still bought season tickets.

The third division a more physical league?

For UTMP read Up the Minnow Pool.

Definite no but will end up spending more on a match by match basis. However, if it's the same old crap 3-5-2 system with no sign of improvement, I can see me missing a lot more next season.
