Will renew whatever

Although I'm not over the moon that it looks like NC is staying, I've never really considered not renewing purely on the basis of the manager/head coach

I don't go to many away games these days, and the home games have been generally OK, so I don't really get why you wouldn't renew a ST (unless it's as a protest or due to affordability)

Simon Sadler maybe enjoying it but the inconsistency and the tactics have dominated a poor season that should have produced so much more.
A few well chosen words of ambition from Simon,a glimpse of the new seasons kit, a couple of pictures of the grass growing on Bloomfield Road and I will be renewing again.

So far as it stands that's about a quarter of the fan base possibly going AWOL and if things don't improve in the style of play it may be a lot more by the end of the season.

I’m a bit like you Dave. Where we differ is in the number of games, if he’s still here, as we know he will be, We won’t renew. We will pick our games according to weather, opposition, health etc. I don’t feel I can justify a season long commitment if I don’t feel fully committed.

I'm one of the "always will" group, but I'm worried that we're sleepwalking into being L1 long term. After throwing away our championship status last season that simply unacceptable.

The blame (this season anyway) sits with Critchley and he really shouldn't be here next season - rewarding failure.
Whilst you can blame Critchley, rightly so, you have to blame SS for not sorting it out. He just seems to accept it, probably because it's the easiest option and NC is a nice fella so won't go shouty.

I'll probably will buy one as overall I go support the team.
Just have no expectations of achieving anything though with Critchley in charge.
Obviously not happy with that or Sadlers attitude to keeping us in League one.

How are we all feeling about next Season? (multiple votes allowed!)
Half will renew without any reservations.

Green light for successful recruiter Sadler:

Rerehire Appleton, McCarthy or Grayson.

"...home games have been generally OK, so I don't really get why you wouldn't renew a ST (unless it's as a protest or due to affordability)."

Home OK, away dross: why not protest?

DonCorleone

"In the old days, those who didn't go because they didn't like what they saw on the pitch were referred to as fair weather fans."

A season ticket: the offer he can't refuse.

In this case, the purchase kills yourself.

Alfie Conn

"A few well chosen words of ambition from Simon,a glimpse of the new seasons kit, a couple of pictures of the grass growing on Bloomfield Road and I will be renewing again."

The hypocritical oath that cons itself.

Halifax71

"I'm one of the "always will" group..."

The club lacks any incentive for change.

"People knew that Critchley was to be the mannager before this season started yet still bought a season ticket. Why?"

fcblackpool

"Because, in my case I expected another Calderwood type coming in."

Buy on anticipation, without proof?

Prob renew anyway but is price dependent.
The kid is bored & like a few others aren’t too fussed about going at the moment.
If price is right (& I’m able) may 2 adult tickets so won’t have to hassle with swapping the kid’s seat to an adult when she doesn’t want to go (& I can find someone who wants to go!)

Gosh, paulco, I wish I was blessed with some of the wisdom that you seem to possess 😂

I didn’t boycott all them years just to fold so easily when the going gets tough, and lets be honest are these really the dark times some like to make out?
This. Absolutely crazy we are even having this discussion. Not going cos you don't like the manager, what an entitled bunch of melts our fanbase has become. What's worse is we are the best in the league at home. Bewildering.

There are degrees of expectation and there's the real world. Our expectations (didn't SS say he wanted promotion this season?) are firmly in the real world.

That’s the worst thing about this season that the youngsters are losing interest.
My lad and his friends have loved the last few years, gone home and away but now are picking the away games and sometimes they will even miss the home games.
I’ll renew and I think/hope my lad and his pals, 6 of them will also renew🙏

I didn’t renew this season because I knew I was going to struggle to get to the majority of games and it looks as though I will be correct BUT whilst I guess the same will apply next season( even if we were to go up,highly unlikely but we have been in this position before) will still go to as many home games as I can….it’s all about age,the cost and distance to travel and nothing else..I’d say the same even if we were in a relegation situation, which I have also been in.
Married 48 years but married😂to the football club a lot longer😉

I'm having a year off and going to Spain once a month to watch Malaga CF. Will go to some Blackpool games but I'm sick of getting annoyed at everything about our club at the moment.

As Critchley will still be around it’s going to be pay per match for me. Im not prepared to back Sadlers decision to keep him in post as things stand. He’s got the remaining games to change my mind.

I’ll probably just do the away games so I can witness dead boring tactics and guaranteed defeats, then I can go home and take my frustrations out on my wife and dog and have a bloody good moan on here. 😂

It's pretty pointless discussing after a defeat and this time of year, in months people feel differently.

A lot can change and also if the club do go the route discussed on this thread, it could be massive.

Of course there needs to be a brand to sell though and that fans will buy into.

Listened to the SS interview in the car today.
ELRL: Aim for this season?
SS - Promotion
RL- And if Neil.doesnt achieve that
SS: Then he'll have to next season.

Not ad verbatim but from memory.
