Season Ticket refund?

If the worst case scenario happens and there is no more football this season would you ask for a refund?
I personally wouldn't, our Club will be losing enough money as it is.

Been talked about on another thread yesterday mate. I am not a ST holder, but if I was I wouldn't ask for a refund. If everyone did the club will take a big hit. Simon doesn't deserve that. I have a ticket for Rochdale and wont ask for a refund if worst happens.

I agree with all the above. I think it is the least the current owner deserves.

I'm still hopeful that this season will be completed - eventually. Even a heavy delay is preferable to the alternatives.

Tbh as unlikely as it is the canceled the season I wouldn't be too fussed as we have little to play for. Be a shame. There would be melt downs, especially in Liverpool and Leeds if they did! It would be unfair to any club at the top end. Those at the bottom would be buzzing especially Horwich Wanderers!

Funnily enough Leeds offered me a refund on mine yesterday and also on my renewal for next, after some long term squabbling on away ticket allocations.

I think BRR might have called it right on 'verminous' 😁

Even Leeds would feel the pinch if they refunded ever STH.

As a prudent man of business He will have business continuity insurance. I imagine the club would pay out automatically without having to ask if the season is effectively cancelled or offer a discount on next years. How many fans would return the money under those circumstances?

The reason I started this thread I personally know somebody that would, not seen yesterdays thread on it.

Certainly not....i bet canceling just the S/land game has cost Simon Sadler 150k.
In my opinion we fans will not be in Bloomfield rd again this season.

I'm a season ticket holder and no way will I ask or expect a refund.

Not at this stage of the season, no. It's going to be difficult enough for the club as it is.

Dave, like I said this morning, what should happen is the top flight players on 50, 100, 200k a week should take a temporary pay cut for 1, 2, 3 months and have that money distributed to the lower league players. That's where the spare cash is.
No-one on that sort of money needs all of it.
That would support their colleagues, take the financial pressure off the smaller clubs, preserving the clubs and future pro footballer jobs.

Should happen, but it won't.

No - for many of the reasons already covered in this thread -
As stated above, this is not within the club's control, nor was it foreseeable

Ive already paid for the four season tickets so I’m not going to miss the money so I’m not really bothered. I’m going to probably lose financially with the hotel which I don’t deserve to and neither does Simon Sadler. Shit happens just have to get over it and get on with it I guess but next season will be all good. Just curious though if this season does go ahead and finishes say the end of June will the start of next season be delayed ??

Difficult times for your business Michelle but as you say shit happens but we will all recover

it wouldn’t be personal funds tho it’s money we have paid . I don’t expect him to give a refund on a season ticket in cash but maybe offer discount off next years season ticket or a shirt or summit

We shouldn't want or expect anything. The guy has done loads already and is pressing ahead with a new training ground and acadamy centre of excellence. He has made improvements all over the club and I feel proud of him. Whereas with the O's in charge I always felt embarrassed

Why on Earth would I want to ask for a refund.
Maybe next year will be my final one( an age thing re the near 3,000 mile drive per season commute just for home games ) but I don’t want a refund if I miss any ( if we play) home games remaining and will invest in next season because I want to support the club who mean everything to me.

I wouldn't ask for a refund but I think it is a vital reminder to clubs (some who get completely ahead of themselves - look at the Exeter Chiefs Chairman last week when he banned those Flybe passengers) that without us, the clubs are nothing.

Owen Oyston still probably doesn't get it!

I think some are missing the point on this thread you may not want it back but that would be out of your control if others did start giving money back the club can hardly say no we are keeping the cash.

I don't think you will have to apply anyway they will just knock the money off next seasons bill.
