September return?

Just been talking to a mate who works at an EFL club (not ours) and by all accounts, the consensus is for a September return. Not sure how that is feasible given how late the Championship will end, but that is the feeling (and of course they doubt any fans will be in grounds at that point).

so, like a broken record I'll ask again, how can teams start in September, but not finish this season?

No one seems to be able to answer this one.
It's a decent question Halifax and can only presume that it's to do with contracts and clubs wanting a clean slate.

Depends on the R rate. It’s there’s no spike it’s possible. Id there’s another spike you’re talking next year

So knocking average third division wages below a grand a week? seems better...

It's 2.5m per club with this coming season as a transition period. I think I'm right in saying that's all been ratified now.

I think players are due a rude awakening when it comes to future remuneration...
About time - never understood when I occasionally went to Squire’s Gate how players at the third tier of football (so at my work that would be someone on £22k tops) could all afford top of the range cars!
