They played some good football other than they had no threat at the business edge of the pitch.
Possibility as next manager for us ?

They only played some football because we allowed them to!

Why we sit back and let teams come at us I don't know.
I thought we should be pressing teams more and stop inviting pressure.

Attack is the best form of defence after all.

I think he'll do alright for them - like us if we'd gone with Dobbie rather than McCarthy I think we'd be ahead of Reading and QPR and similar if they'd gone for Maloney rather than Toure they'd be the same.

Not Maloney's fault they have nothing at the business end of the pitch. How many people have said we needed, Bowler, Rogers, Poveda, Fiorini, on the pitch at the same time ? We have the players, we don't use them. We'll we played them all and looked the same as we always have.

yeah I thought they were dreadful. So much square and backward passing and I'd guess that is why their fans were regularly booing.

You're right.
If we sit back like that on Tuesday, or if we let WBA have time & space as they approach our box, we'll be mullered.
Our CB's tackled, blocked & headed well (except for needlessly almost decapitating Hubby), but they're slow on their feet in closing down the edge of the box. They'll need to be on their game on Tuesday. As will the fullbacks in stopping the crosses coming in, as we've no height other that Nelson.
