Sheffield Wednesday

They've just been given 6k of Barnsley's original allocation.

Not unexpected considering their general support. Barnsley about 25k which is about as expected as well.

I've heard that they've had to extend Wembley to a capacity of 4.5 million and even then they are doing helicopter fly overs for the thousands who will miss out 🤔

P.S. Hope they win - much prefer a trip to Barnsley than the Wendies

Is their football operations managing director,(or whatever they're called) still meant to be coming to us? And will it make a difference if Wendies win?

I think it best for us if SW win and we get rid of them out of the league for next season as they will be favourites (again!) however, the thought of their failure and floundering again is just too tempting a prospect😁

Plus we can sign a few of their L1 targets, assuming their man becomes our DoF

I'd prefer Wednesday to go up. It's all about who will be the bigger threat next season. That's not to say Barnsley won't be, I just see Sheffield as a better team, as their 96pts suggest.
As Phil has said on another thread though they are a relatively old team…… certainly need a bit of a clear out whether in league 1 or the championship
