Should we be worried about Blackburn?

If, as seems very likely now, t'Rovers don't renew Tony Mowbray's contract, will they try and get Neil Critchley to replace him.
I imagine the pay would be higher, a bigger budget and probably a faster route to the Premier League.
Should we be worrying?

Given our squad Mowbray would have the sense to pick Yates and never let Hamilton near the first team.

I love Critch but am finding it increasingly difficult to get behind his tactics and team selection.

Nope. They can’t and won’t pay any compensation fee for a manager. Looking at cheap foreign options.

If Critch did go to Blackburn and it's a massive if,I could understand why but T'Rovers arent in uncle Jack's heyday anymore. A bigger step yes in terms of finance and infrastructure but we are gaining ground by the season. Its a bloody shame those bastard Oystons left us in such a vulnerable position.

Critchley on his way. You heard it here first.

Sir Critch will stay for the duration of his contract unless the club think otherwise. He is undoubtedly an honourable man

If they sack a manager who just failed to get an average squad in the playoffs, do you really think Critch would be interested?

Holloway was great at man management in the early days but inherited a squad that was good enough to get promotion.
Critch is not only managing playing squad I am sure he has an imput on youth team as well and I hope some develop into first teamers.

I’m hoping next season we get that extra bit of championship experiences quality and then critch plays with his strongest 11 whenever possible

Sadler already lining up Richie Wellens

Looks like EvattOG outed himself as being Merseyshite.

Well done, you tricky bastard, we all fell for your believable info 🙄

Apparently we're all worried as 1 guy asked a question in a thread.... talk about false narrative...

Also look at the desperation, trying to spread rumours, ooo scary stuff.

Yep. That’s me. Seriously though, you’ll need to tie Critchley down. If a premier league club were willing to poach Grayson from us then Crotchley’s stock must be even higher.

Is this a Nobber admitting that we have a better coach than them (to add to better support, owner and success in play offs plus of course on the pitch over 2 games)

Nice….. I

Means nowt
You said tie him down, thought you meant contract not literally..

It doesn't mean people can't go when they have just signed a big extension, but makes it more unlikely unless its a real step up and also means we get good compensation if he does.

Hes only part way through his project and is clearly enjoying it and wants to see us into the next phase, see the training ground, hopefully announced next few days, be part of the East development, make us an even better championship club.
