NO supporters coach running from the club. So that’s maybe 4 of us not going now. Ridiculous not running a coach
Maybe the SLO can find out why
They’ve made the decision to not run a coach before they know the demand for tickets

Yeah was the same for Bristol and Stevenage they must be passing on the load to BSA

Pick up points are not good for people that was going. They also set off far too early to away games
mmm.... where does the club coach go from?

BSA pick up at Red Lion, Devy Arms, Belle Vue, Saddle, Waterloo, Kirkham M55 junction and Preston M55 junction. Pretty sure that is as good and better than anything the club does. Yep, they set off early but that allows for a coupleof hours in a pub or a wander around the town of the stop off point.

No thanks
My main point here is that the club should be running a coach

The BSA coach is a decent option, but people shouldn’t need to join a group to get access to a coach.

Club should run one coach at least, especially for the doable games like Shrewsbury - for those who don’t go away, the club coach is arguably the first point of call and having an easy option encourages them to start going away.

Can then help build a larger away support base.

The problem with the Club running coaches has always been that you have to get to and from the ground. Given the geography of the Fylde it means a lot of travel for some just to get to the ground, especially for the early departures and late returns.

Is there not a canal trip organised from Owd Nells to Shrewsbury?

End of the day BSA are an option and have multiple pick up points.
I get the impression the club can’t be bothered with the hassle of it and are happy to pass it over to BSA.

Even bloody Fleetwood put a coach on to Wycombe and they only had 53 fans there at £10 each.
Says something when Blackpool can’t be arsed putting a coach on at full cost for multiple away games a season

As someone who uses the club coaches often when CBA driving it's so bloody confusing.

Put one on for Burton no probs but six miles further Shrewsbury not.

The club needs to make a decision put them on every Saturday away game(fair enough midweek long distances not to) or don't bother at all.

Run them like BSA- take the hit when there's empty seats then when local games pop up and 3 coaches are sold out like a Bolton make up the difference.
It's almost like the club are shit scared of losing a couple of quid.

Yep that’s what I think.
There has even been times they’ve sold tickets for a coach then cancelled it due to not filling it. You think they would just take the hit and learn from it but to cancel fans transport after buying coach and match tickets is a poor do.

That was Hartlepool in the Fa Cup 2 years ago fans had bought coach and match tickets, pulled the transport which was is an utter disgrace when some average reserve players are on more than a coach cost.

It does seem a bit weird the club doesn’t attempt to run a coach to every game. I’d have thought it would be standard practice but perhaps there just hasn’t been the interest.

Wouldn’t know if there’s been any coach interest as tickets only went on sale today for a Shrewsbury. I know 4/5 that would have been using the coach one of whom is disabled

The club is an absolute joke when it comes to running coaches. There is no energy drive and advertising campaign to encourage fans whatsoever especially given the urgency to save the environment. I’ve written several times to the SLO but nothing back👎

I agree they should put them on. Just wondering why they don’t as it seems like a normal thing for a club to do. Someone mentioned they cancelled some which sounds like they weren’t selling.

Could you get a cab to one of the BSA pickups? Would be a couple of quid each between 4/5

No as the taxi would need to pick up from four or five different addresses
They just won’t bother going

If you can all get to Bloomfield Road for a supporter’s coach could you not meet there and then get a quick taxi to the Belle Vue for pickup?

Not trying to be a nob btw, just suggesting possible alternatives to get to the game!

Not an excuse at all you idiot. Bet we go to more away games in one season than you’ve ever been to
My bloody point is. THE CLUB SHOULD BE RUNNING COACHES FOR FANS.
My point is stop relying on other people.
If I wanted to go I'd go. Id make sure I found a way to get there and rather than blame or relying on someone else I'd get my arse in gear and find another way, like I would in anything I do.

Run one yourself.

If your struggling I'll give you the number of someone who is running a coach themselves from South Shore.

I ain’t relying on anybody else you nasty **. Where have I asked anybody for help.
YOU are missing my point. All I’m saying is
THE CLUB SHOULD BE RUNNING COACHES like all other clubs do. Wind you’re neck in
And for youre information I AM going it’s the others that were going that won’t now be.

Nasty....... something I've never been described as.
Honest. To the point. Blunt....

The thing is, my bullshitometer is full.

Why should the club run coaches? They've run them and lost money on them. Why should they do that?
Why aren't you mates going? There are other coaches, other forms of transport.
There's a part of society now that needs their hand holding for even the smallest task or little problem they may encounter.
People were using the excuse they couldn't buy tickets online so couldn't go v BWFC......pick the phone up FFS or go to the ticket office.

There's always someone who has a problem with something that gives them an excuse to do nothing....
Perhaps I come from a different era than you but I don't find problems, I find solutions and get on with it.
