It’s ridiculous. They want fans at away games yet they can’t be arsed putting a coach on. Why should fans be arsed. Same scenarioYeah was the same for Bristol and Stevenage they must be passing on the load to BSA
Can you trust the trains cos I won’tGo on the train? It’s a pretty quick journey . We are !
Pick up points are not good for people that was going. They also set off far too early to away gamesGo with BSA
The stadium is in the middle of nowhere and about a 50min walk from the station. That's fine for some but may not work for others.Go on the train? It’s a pretty quick journey . We are !
Also £56.70 each on the train off peak not prepared to pay thatThe stadium is in the middle of nowhere and about a 50min walk from the station. That's fine for some but may not work for others.
One of my friends is disabled so a deffo no go on the trainsThe stadium is in the middle of nowhere and about a 50min walk from the station. That's fine for some but may not work for others.
They do have buses in Shrewsbury. The stadium is in the middle of nowhere and about a 50min walk from the station. That's fine for some but may not work for others.
mmm.... where does the club coach go from?Pick up points are not good for people that was going. They also set off far too early to away games
No thanksmmm.... where does the club coach go from?
BSA pick up at Red Lion, Devy Arms, Belle Vue, Saddle, Waterloo, Kirkham M55 junction and Preston M55 junction. Pretty sure that is as good and better than anything the club does. Yep, they set off early but that allows for a coupleof hours in a pub or a wander around the town of the stop off point.
that's fair enough but it is totally misleading then to say that " the pick up points are not good."No thanks
My main point here is that the club should be running a coach
I meant pick up points weren’t good for us sorry if it came across wrongthat's fair enough but it is totally misleading then to say that " the pick up points are not good."
Not far between the Waterloo and the ground? No thanks
My main point here is that the club should be running a coach
Every time that I've worked in Stevenage, I've found the station to be a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the ground. Did you get badly lost ?The stadium is in the middle of nowhere and about a 50min walk from the station. That's fine for some but may not work for others.
Stevenage may be but Shrewsbury is not which is what the thread is about.Every time that I've worked in Stevenage, I've found the station to be a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the ground. Did you get badly lost ?
The threads about Shrewsbury.Every time that I've worked in Stevenage, I've found the station to be a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the ground. Did you get badly lost ?
Google maps says Stevenage Station to the ground is a 28 minute walk.Every time that I've worked in Stevenage, I've found the station to be a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the ground. Did you get badly lost ?
I reckon 20 mins absolute tops. If you have breathing difficulties then maybe !Google maps says Stevenage Station to the ground is a 28 minute walk.
The walk to the ground ?Is this genuine?
Yep that’s what I think. It's almost like the club are shit scared of losing a couple of quid.
That was Hartlepool in the Fa Cup 2 years ago fans had bought coach and match tickets, pulled the transport which was is an utter disgrace when some average reserve players are on more than a coach cost.Yep that’s what I think.
There has even been times they’ve sold tickets for a coach then cancelled it due to not filling it. You think they would just take the hit and learn from it but to cancel fans transport after buying coach and match tickets is a poor do.
No the opening post. The walk to the ground ?
No the opening post.
I'd have to be badly lost if I got off at Shrewsbury and tried walking to Stevenage's ground.Every time that I've worked in Stevenage, I've found the station to be a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the ground. Did you get badly lost ?
Wouldn’t know if there’s been any coach interest as tickets only went on sale today for a Shrewsbury. I know 4/5 that would have been using the coach one of whom is disabledIt does seem a bit weird the club doesn’t attempt to run a coach to every game. I’d have thought it would be standard practice but perhaps there just hasn’t been the interest.
I agree they should put them on. Just wondering why they don’t as it seems like a normal thing for a club to do. Someone mentioned they cancelled some which sounds like they weren’t selling.Wouldn’t know if there’s been any coach interest as tickets only went on sale today for a Shrewsbury. No as the taxi would need to pick up from four or five different addressesI agree they should put them on. Just wondering why they don’t as it seems like a normal thing for a club to do. Someone mentioned they cancelled some which sounds like they weren’t selling.
Could you get a cab to one of the BSA pickups? Would be a couple of quid each between 4/5
Go in a car.......NO supporters coach running from the club. So that’s maybe 4 of us not going now. Ridiculous not running a coach
Maybe the SLO can find out why
They’ve made the decision to not run a coach before they know the demand for tickets
Any excuse!Pick up points are not good for people that was going. They also set off far too early to away games
Get a cab or busThe stadium is in the middle of nowhere and about a 50min walk from the station. That's fine for some but may not work for others.
Sometimes I think we live in a country where nobody can wipe their own arse anymore.I meant pick up points weren’t good for us sorry if it came across wrong
Not an excuse at all you idiot. Bet we go to more away games in one season than you’ve ever been toAny excuse!
If you can all get to Bloomfield Road for a supporter’s coach could you not meet there and then get a quick taxi to the Belle Vue for pickup? No as the taxi would need to pick up from four or five different addresses
They just won’t bother going
My point is stop relying on other people. Not an excuse at all you idiot. Bet we go to more away games in one season than you’ve ever been to
My bloody point is. THE CLUB SHOULD BE RUNNING COACHES FOR FANS.
I ain’t relying on anybody else you nasty **. Where have I asked anybody for help.My point is stop relying on other people.
If I wanted to go I'd go. Id make sure I found a way to get there and rather than blame or relying on someone else I'd get my arse in gear and find another way, like I would in anything I do.
Run one yourself.
If your struggling I'll give you the number of someone who is running a coach themselves from South Shore.
Nasty....... something I've never been described as.I ain’t relying on anybody else you nasty **. Where have I asked anybody for help.
YOU are missing my point. All I’m saying is
THE CLUB SHOULD BE RUNNING COACHES like all other clubs do. Wind you’re neck in
And for youre information I AM going it’s the others that were going that won’t now be.
