Shrewsbury Tickets out BUT

mmm.... where does the club coach go from?

BSA pick up at Red Lion, Devy Arms, Belle Vue, Saddle, Waterloo, Kirkham M55 junction and Preston M55 junction. Pretty sure that is as good and better than anything the club does. Yep, they set off early but that allows for a coupleof hours in a pub or a wander around the town of the stop off point.
did a few with them in the noughties. Leicester in 2004 . FA CUP. WE Stopped just outside in this great wa\tering hole. Got pretty done over a couple of hours . YES they certainly are organised. Might have a look next season.

Nasty....... something I've never been described as.
Honest. To the point. Blunt....

The thing is, my bullshitometer is full.

Why should the club run coaches? They've run them and lost money on them. Why should they do that?
Why aren't you mates going? There are other coaches, other forms of transport.
There's a part of society now that needs their hand holding for even the smallest task or little problem they may encounter.
People were using the excuse they couldn't buy tickets online so couldn't go v BWFC......pick the phone up FFS or go to the ticket office.

There's always someone who has a problem with something that gives them an excuse to do nothing....
Perhaps I come from a different era than you but I don't find problems, I find solutions and get on with it.
The club never run coaches on a loss. if you read previous posts on this thread. The club sell match tickets and coach tickets then if the coach isn’t full they cancel the coach leaving fans with no choice but to return their match and travel tickets for refunds So the club lose out on those match ticket sales.

Not an excuse at all you idiot. Bet we go to more away games in one season than you’ve ever been to
My bloody point is. THE CLUB SHOULD BE RUNNING COACHES FOR FANS.
The club should run coaches for fans IF no one else is doing so.

As it is BSA runs coaches and better they take say one full coach to Shrewsbury than the club and BSA only fill half a coach each.

So stop your ** moaning and go on the BSA coach or don't go at all.

Went to 30 last season and about the same the season before its only this season i haven't done as many

I CAN CERTAINLY FIND MY OWN WAY TO SHREWSBURY THOUGH
Like I’ve said previously I AM a going to Shrewsbury
Shows some of you up on here for what you are
Disregard for disabled people. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves

Surely your disabled friend can travel on a BSA coach, can't they?

Or maybe you organise a minibus for all these friends of yours that suddenly aren't going to Shrewsbury.

You are bitching like fuck because the club isn't running a coach to a match that's about 2 hours away

I've been to over 100 away grounds watching Blackpool over 40 years or so and I've never ever travelled on a club run coach

It really isn't a big deal

YES they should. They put a coach on for burton yet not for Shrewsbury which is only 6 miles from burton
Is is fcuk 6 miles from Burton

More like 60 miles

Maybe the club should put on a free driven car that can pick you up from your house and take you home, maybe they can also feed you and help you get dressed

I was only going off what someone said on a previous post re mileage
You really don’t read my posts properly do you
I AM already going
Why is it so hard for you to understand the point of my post is
BFC SHOULD BE running a coach

NO they shouldn't its up to the club if they run a coach or not and they aren't doing for this match

As has been said there are plenty other ways to travel

Well don't

Maybe you should look for your self

It may be a similar distance from Blackpool but that wasn't what you said
The distance from Blackpool to burton by car is 114 miles to Shrewsbury by car from Blackpool is 106 miles so the poster wasn’t far out

Can I drive from Blackpool to Shrewsbury? Yes, the driving distance between Blackpool to Shrewsbury is 106 miles. It takes approximately 2h 3m to drive from Blackpool to Shrewsbury.
Yes, the driving distance between Blackpool to Burton upon Trent is 114 miles. It takes approximately 2h 1m to drive from Blackpool to Burton upon Trent.
Where the fu** do you get 60 miles from 🤡

Wow ...

Thick as pig sh!t you are

You said Burton was 6 miles from Shrewsbury, it isn't its 60 miles,

Now if you had of said Shrewsbury was a similar distance as Burton from Blackpool then you would have been correct, it's not my fault you can't articulate what you actually mean

This is what you posted
"YES they should. They put a coach on for burton yet not for Shrewsbury which is only 6 miles from burton"

When I've travelled on the club coaches you often find a lot of elderly, females, families with children who may not want to go to a pub 2 hours before a game like BSA or go on the more boisterous ones.

This half in half out is confusing run them to Burton and Port Vale but not to Shrewsbury makes little sense.

Just past the reigns to BSA full time maybe they could do a direct one.

Different scenario altogether
Your right it is different.

All those venues I suggested will make plenty of money from the ticket sales whereas the club will, I guess, make peanuts from selling away tickets. Therefore the other venues are MORE incentivised to lay on transport.

Anyway, there are a plethora of travel options for you and your pals to travel to Shrewsbury by ( BSA coach, train, car minibus etc) so best you just stop whining that the club isn't laying a coach on because you've made yourself look a bit of a dick.

I don’t have a dick lol and as I’ve said umpteen times I’m already sorted for going to Shrewsbury it’s other fans that will struggle

Where imo you've gone wrong in this thread is that you should have just focused on your problem with the issue that the club isn't running a coach to Shrewsbury. What you've done though is brought into play other factors such as disability, pick up points etc. And in those factors every single one of them is easily solved.

I did because they think a disabled person would wanna travel to pick up points. Then get on a coach a few hours earlier than they need to.
I did say the pick up points from bsa were fine but just not fine for everybody
I said multiple times that the club should be running a coach
Maybe bsa could start doing a direct coach rather than leaving a few hours earlier than need to. Aswell as a coach that does stop if the demand is there
Anyway I will leave it here

I doubt a coach from the club would pick up the disabled person from his house so no I don't buy into the excuse that BSA coaches are "not fine for everybody". BSA will have more pick up points than the club coach. Your point about set off times is valid but that's it.

What I meant was do the pick ups but direct to the ground instead of stopping off for a few hours

Another thread of people A) moaning at the club and B) finding excuses not to go to games.

It’s not an excuse for me if you read the posts properly I am going to the game. Probs do more away games than most on here.
I went the bsm cup game last week how many on here couldn’t be arsed
I went Morecambe friendly away how many on here couldn’t be arsed
I went notts forest game how many on here couldn’t be arsed
So it clearly isnt an excuse not to go because I AM going

Must admit I checked with BSA and there is no pick up point outside my front door so probably have to give Shrewsbury a miss.

Wasn’t specifically aimed at you. In fact it wasn’t aimed at you at all

Have you ever thought then why they arent running a coach to Shrewsbury? Could it be a lack of interest? also to add, do they get anything but a booking fee for away tickets?
Judging by the other replies on this thread youre in a majority of one...........

I was on the club coach to Burton and I would say it was about 80% full as was the Port Vale coach perhaps slightly less. You would think at league 1 level there would be at least 1 coach available

Run your own coach. We do and will be taking one to Shrewsbury.
