Freeing up places in the squad and the wage bill are a good start. Corbeanu and Fiorini are injured and not worth waiting for. Williams started poorly but did OK recently, the truth is we need better. The board have a huge job on their hands, they couldn't sell the opportunity to play for Blackpool in the summer, trying to do so when we are in the bottom 3 is going to be even tougher.

I know people say it's a hard sell to get somebody to a bottom 3 club but I bet loads of players would love the challenge, I know I would.
Problem would be if a top 8 club wanted the same player but I'd prefer a relegation scrap than the option of a club safe in mid table.

Critchley might want him at QPR. Corberan, now at WBA, also seemed to like him at Olympiacos too. I think we just have to be thankful that we are the only club he can sign for this season.
