Simon - I’ll be first in the queue for a ST

Don’t let the minority put you off being custodian of this great club. I will support you by investing in the club with two ST’s and to shut these negative ninnnies up - I’d suggest we all do the same and break last season’s figure to show our on going support.
I think we will get 6k season tickets, 6.5 at a push which is a shame.

However, it’s got to be expected after a lacklustre season both on and off the pitch, in every aspect. Hopefully it’s resurrected this season and we can get back up.

Yeah it's great all the hard-core fans like us will buy, but the casuals, undecided etc won't be flocking at the ST and matchday prices.

A shame the club has shown no belief again.

Sadler fans should not buy season tickets but pay on a match by match basis to top up the contribution to last seasons mistakes that will cost us dearly on crowd numbers

I don’t think it’s a minority. I think it’s probably 3-4K who may or may not who could make a real difference. And the match day tickets are relevant to maybe another 10-12k who might go 3 times a year, or base their attendance on how well we’re doing.
I’ll be getting one but it’s not about me or the likes of me who will pretty much always get one.
There was a real lack of imagination in the way this was announced, there are lots of ways to make this more attractive/different packages.
The club does seem to be scoring obvious own goals atm.

👍

i live near hull and my 2 sons cardiff and edinburgh
whilst i wont get to every match i will buy 3 season tickets
we need to support simon sadler
yes mistakes made they cant be reversed
That's one hell of commitment - a huge well done.
As we take our 5 year old grandson, we can't do night games & he's too young to sit through the games during the cold months. So we won't buy ST's but we'll go to as many games as we can & take our adult daughters when they're available.

Agreed. Simon is doing a good job, hope he doesn't let this noise drive him away.
A good job ? Where have you actually been for the last 12 months ? It's been a total horror show and the buck stops with him , if he was an employee he'd be down the road now .
I'm not calling him , grateful for what he has previously done, ill be giving him the benefit of the doubt to fix it , so far he's not really giving any of us much hope .

Adam, Who are the "negative ninnies"? Will they be the supporters of our club who happen to have a differing opinion to yourself?
Simon's a very intelligent, successful multi millionaire, who I'm sure has got very thick skin (and not a 'ninnie')
As a family of exiles, we no longer buy ST's, but do attend as many games as we can, taking into account the challenges of taking a 5 year old. We also pay to watch Tangerine TV if we can't make a game & it's being televised.
Each supporter will financially support the club in the best way they can.

I think you should buy an extra one to really support him. Show everyone you are the best 💪🏽👏🏻

I think it's impressive that you managed to type that with one hand whilst cupping SS balls with the other.

Me and the Mrs and son will get one each but he really could have made more of an effort here. The waverers will not get a st and will pick and choose. We did not need to go dramatically low but a price point just under the 300 mark would have shown an acceptance that the product on offer in league 1 is not of the same quality. I think he would have sold more and therefore made any shortfall up with in ground purchases.

It's really easy to say "support the club" and go on about loyalty, but some people simply do not have the disposable income these days. £200 worse off for fuel, £100 for shopping, who knows what for rent or mortgage... People who might have been able to put a bit aside towards a season ticket or put it in their credit card and pay it off have maxed out, and they literally don't have the money or sources of funding to lay out that sort of money, especially in a family situation where there are multiple season ticket holders.
Some cleverer thinking is needed to help fans afford to go, and encourage fans that it's a sacrifice worth making, not a virtual price freeze, which is significantly higher than it was two seasons ago when we were in the same division.

Good positive post, I'm fortunate enough to be able to renew as well.

I’ll be renewing despite Fans “throwing toys out of the pram” & Owner behaving in a similar manner to the clubs customers.
Also BST have not apologised to its membership for poor communication about the “secret” BST & SS meeting, showing all the traits of a “Karl & BSA meeting” therefore failing to act as the Independent Fans Group it claims to be.

Why don't they charge £2000 for all the "superfans" that will pay anything and then £150 for the rest of us at a later date. The "superfans" can have a special section in the West and a complimentary badge too.

Job done then and no more arguing.
Yes superfan premiums are a great idea. And I love the idea that the club could produce badges along side the tickets…badges are ace!! #sooooooper

I know you’re a regular poster but I don’t know you.
I get your point but:
The fans that simply & sadly “can’t afford it” for acceptable reasons I just wonder……only asking as I DON’T know!!
I wonder how many of them :
1) Drink more than 20 pints of beer in a licences establishment every week
2) Buy their families takeaway meals.
If it’s a few Surely 2 four packs of cans a week & home cooked meals as “substitutes” will fund an ST.
I also wonder how many fans in that position and the “Socialist Warriors” posting it are complaining about the Clubs lack of progress in getting transfer targets.
I am merely asking questions here NOT stating fact.
When yiu look at the cost of alternative entertainment like horse racing, rugby, 20/20 cricket or concert tickets.
Our ST prices are “buttons”

Its ok for the takeaway restaurant pub and supermarket to increase prices but the football club should reduce theirs.

Tory corner makes a good point . To go and watch a live sporting event our prices are cheap in comparison to others and the event is a damn site more exciting than cricket.

No doubt they will have an expensive mobile phone package and broadband too.

Had a freebie for Old Trafford last Saturday and talking to a couple lads from Cork.
It cost them close to £1000 each for flights, Hotel and seats with buffet at £247 each.

It is a decent deal and buying 2 on Wednesday.

The big sporting events have nationwide appeal. EFL games usually only appeal to the fans of both clubs. Consequently, they cannot afford to price them as high as the elite level stuff from any sport.
