It will take 5-10 years to turn United around. Ratcliffe is taking on nation states and other equally well off US investors.

They have a crumbling ground and lots of players who they want to get rid of but no one else wants. Every transfer deadline we hear that they are open to offers for X Y and Z and they never leave till their contract runs out.

They’ve got no chance imo .

Will take years before they get near City Arsenal Liverpool.

Jim Ratcliffe invested heavily in Nice. No success .

Agree but cannot believe how much he has paid.
Almost all of ICI cost him less.
He could have sat in the wings and encouraged a toxic atmosphere and then come in as a white knight
 
A strong advocate of fracking in the uk. Owns the shale gas exploration rights for parcels of land in Manchester including beneath the Carrington training ground. He can frack off as far as I’m concerned.
 
Yep brought up in a council house, now a successful billionaire. He should come on here to get some advice on how to get ahead and what deals not to make.
 
I don’t know how they get away with it they have spent as much as city they are not that well supported anymore notts forest have cheated as well as chelsea and they pick on the likes of reading and Wigan footballs corrupt

It seems strange happy only having a minority shareholding, with such a large investment. It was Alan Sugar's biggest business
regret getting involved with the Spurs, let's hope it is the same for Sir Jim.
