So then after 10 league games.

As I mentioned before it reminds me of 66/67 when we had sold Alan Ball.
Without Bowler we are in big trouble.

Thank god for the World Cup break etc.

Quitch left us in a big hole and sacrificed the first half of the season for us..

We were alway going to suffer whilst the team was reshaped.

We have injuries and suspensions to key players.

That being said if we play like we did against Rotherham and second half today we are in for a relegation battle.

I'm behind Appleton and most definitely Simon Sadler. I'll judge MA over the season.

Very disappointed with the last two results and performances, but I'm not going to act like we 1) Haven't played very well at times this season 2) Haven't been massively short handed the past 3 matches.

It's upsetting to go into a break on such a bad note, but we need to hold our nerve here, Appleton getting a mostly healthy squad after the break will be a big tell of how this season will go.

We've seen good and we've seen bad so far, I will pass judgement when he actually has a fully fit squad to choose from.

A win or two puts up right back up in the mix, but a run of bad results will send us in the mire. I honestly thought Rotherham and Millwall were our best chances of wins

I’m not in the Appleton out party just yet, I mean it really hasn’t been anything to rave about at the same time. January really is gonna be make or break depending on who we bring in. Think it’s unfair he’s taking all the blame though

I've said it before , if the manager was a stick of rock he'd have L1 running through him.
Didn't like the appointment at the time and I've seen nothing to change my mind. He hasn't been helped though by a poor transfer window and strategy. Too much looking at the future and not enough concentrating on today. Thinking of bolstering things up with the free agent market is already looking idiotic .

So ten games , last season we can all say , this team looks good needs some luck not worried
this season , we look poor , poor players poor coach and not backed by the owner , we don’t look like winning , this worrying

so what is it then , me personally opinion is ,Sadler cant ignor what’s going on the pitch , yes getting in a new training ground and east stand is important, but it’s no good getting lower crowds if pool are in league 2 Plus you won’t get the better players if in league 2 ether

just proves what a good coach critchley was , yes he ended up as a snake , but did he foresee the future 🤷 hence why he left

appleton was a signing of hope from the board. Of trying to stay up , if relegated then so be it , we will try again nest season
pool did have a very poor transfer window , press talk just to appease us fans , look who we are trying to sign. But nobody did sign , why was this , has Simon got no financial funds , is it because of covid catching up with pool , with costs , non of us know as we don’t get told
bowler sold 2 million or was it more , critchley comp as well , so where is this funds to sign players
simon said he wanted the Brentford model , sell top youngsters to improve the current plsying squad , it’s not happen this summer

is appleton the answer , I was one of those who didn’t want him , but again if he ain’t got the tools to work with , can he be blamed 🤷
Your grammar and use of the English language is almost as bad as the points you're making.

In the first ten games
Everyone said it will be OK he knows what he is doing.....
Then it will be OK when we get our injured players back..
Some has said today give him 15 games until the international break.
No doubt then let's give him until Christmas.
We are staring at relegation
I hope we win against Norwich.
But defending like today and wednesday
So when is the right time to bin the clown?

Not that horrific of a start really in context, I think some of this reaction is definitely overstated and its as if people haven't watched football their entire lives and a season isn't defined by the first 10 games. Let's give Appleton and the lads a little more time shall we? There is enough quality at times to suggest with returning players we should be alright, I agree though that a decent January is essential to see us through till the end of the season.

Bar the Rotherham shambles … every game we’ve been involved in we’ve either won drawn or been in throughout. This league is hard and is full of fine margins. Injuries have been unbelievably unfortunate too. Some massively harsh comments on here as usual. You either get behind the manager and players or you don’t. Ten games into a season which was sabotaged from the start by Critchley and the knives are out. Spoilt brat mentality is cringeworthy. I’ll judge at Christmas not mid September.

Steady on, you’re coming across as rational.

Can we add piss poor recruitment to the hands he’s been dealt too. No striker. Pffft.

Where were people expecting us to be?

We’ve lost 2 of our best players from last season too.

Ten games in, that's it, far too early to judge anything unless this is your first season as a football supporter?

Currently we're a bit shit, but at some point we won't be a bit shit, because we're a mid table team, nothing more and nothing less. We're set up this season to be middling.

Simon. I don’t know what’s going off here but there’s some questions to be asked about the steel of the youth signings. I hope there not spunking your dough !!!

Can we now pass judgement?
For me.
Manager out of his depth.
Players just not good enough.
The Board must take blame for a shocking transfer window.
So after 10 league games we've had some dreadful luck with injuries and really strange suspensions and we're still only 4 points away from the play off positions. There is a very long way to go.

Our average quality players were good enough to survive in this league last season.

I think the difference is Critchley motivated the team where Appleton is unable to.

There’s a much better chance of getting people in the summer window, we didn’t manage it then. What makes you think January will be any better?

You're never going to be able to pass judgement if you're waiting for that.

This is going to be a really tough season. If we survive it will be like winning the lottery.

Gonna have to dig deep I’m afraid. Gonna be a tough old season.

It's very early....but, we were extremely lucky against Huddersfield and have been poor in our last two outings, looking at our upcoming fixtures I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel

Good luck finding an entire squad of better players at this level with our budget. I’m sure you have a comprehensive list yeah ???
That's the problem though isn't it? We are a Championship club with a league 1 budget. I doesn't work, unless you have the Ollie, Thommo, Belokon combination and. that was just a perfect storm.
