Whilst not a documentary the best sporting film i have ever seen is This Sporting Life starring Richard Harris.

Watched Captain on Disney last week about Derek Jeter who played for NY Yankees and enjoyed it far more than i thought i would.

When the World Watched on sky documentary about Italy's 2006 world cup victory was ace if only to hear Materazzi's thoughts on Zidanes headbutt!
