Are you retired then?“ The award for UK’s most prolific user of work Internet to log onto a football message board goes to.... WIZAARD !”
You lot obviously don't understand his sense of humour or his fishing techniques.l
Personally, I’m a little disappointed by the OPs failure to include misery of civil servants 2% pay... only 6/10 from meChange sport to BBC to Brexit in two steps
Bungle, George and Zippy? He wont be the only black to win an award. The women will feature heavily and so too the disabled. As the BBC havent spoken too much about the homosexuals, lgbtq1s4f and so on at the world cup, the rainbow bunch will be featured. Good all round entertainment if you are sick enough to watch that tripe.
That's about right I'm afraid.
Ben Stokes should win but no doubt the womens footballer will win and the womens football will win team of the year unless any disabled teams managed to win something.
I'd be better not watching it and trying the Pride of Britain awards but I always end up turning it on.
In my youth, I considered the SPOTY programme to be the finest television of the year and used to look forward to it excitedly.
What the BBC have done to what was a British institution is criminal.
There will be a massive concentration on the sports the Beeb have the rights to, unsurprisingly.I won’t be watching it, it’s a sports programme for people who dont like sport or have a very limited attention span.
Oh and there is no way that the BBC will give a team award to a team playing rugby league, disabled or not. That would be the case even if the England womens team hadn’t won the Euros or England hadn’t won the T20 World Cup.
There you go, I thought I would put in a moan about the BBC - it seems to be the done thing on this thread.
Maybe it’s because we don’t have a Briton who deserves to win a life time award?Have already announced the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Usain Bolt.
Is this why we voted for Brexit? Foreigner coming along, taking our awards?
The only part of this show I’ll regret not seeing, is the tribute paid to the sportspeople who died in the last 12 months. I always found that part of the show to be poignant, respectful and tastefully done.
