Star Wars: Andor filming in Cleveleys.

Looking for news on here, considering it’s the biggest thing that’s happened to Cleveleys since the Riverdance.

Anyway, filming starts tomorrow. Roads are closed. The Venue is booked solid. Production crew have taken over the car park. Security everywhere - even at sea. Drone killing tech. Palm trees. Space ships.

Look out for:
Genevieve O'reilly of Tin Star. Alan Tudyk from Resident Alien. Stellar Skarsgård from Chernobyl and The Hunt for Red October. Diego Luna. Adria Arjona.

New Star Wars: Andor Disney+ series set for filming on Lancashire coast

There have also been unconfirmed reports that the promenade is being used to film a beach scene.

Thought it was funny as I was on the prom trying to chuck some rubbish into a bin when it suddenly moved off making whistling noises and clanking angrily!

Edit to say I’ve just watched Resident Alien Series 1 it’s very good and a bit different and Alan Tudyk has a certain Alien quality to him, but of course to me he will always be the greatest pilot as Hoban Washburne (Wash) in the superb Firefly series.

Not enough wings or engines for an X wing, might be an earlier one like a Z95 due to this being pre ANH.

Apparently not though having just had a HUGE hit with The Mandalorian and two more new series currently filming.

The Last Jedi was great, miles better than the other two in that trilogy and their retro fan service nonsense.
