Steve Cooper sacked.

I was just about to write “people will be saying we should be after him” and when they’re told he’s out of our price range they’ll say “we’d offer more than what he’s getting without a job”

Anyway pleased to see people beat me to it by already suggesting we go after him
 
Cannot see it being too long before he gets a decent job offer, did a great job for them. But how long will it be before Forest regret this decision.
 
So that’s Fleetwood, Cambridge and now Forest with the new manager bounce against us. Sure have rotten luck with the way the fixtures play out

Just what I was thinking. I went to Forest away just after Cooper had taken over and they played so well against us winning 2-1 after an abysmal start to the season. They went on an incredible run after that. Would love to have him here instead of Critchley.
 
Funny how the Clampets are keeping faith with Kompany. Or have they accepted the inevitable and will rebuild in the Championship. CREDIT if they do.
 
Hope they go down, bottom of championship to two seasons in the sun, think he’d of kept them up

Playing good football but keep getting pipped.
Reckon they'd be crazy to get rid.
Yoyo for few years whilst building and improving all the time.
Would love him at BFC - pigs might fly.
 
The new manager for Forest is doomed. The Forest fans love Cooper and so they should, he was excellent for them. They're on their way back to oblivion, not fair on the fans but totally deserving of their arsehole of an owner !

credit to hillbillies if they Do keep faith with Kompany. its a long game . burnley fans will keep faith with him. it WOULD be sensational if he did keep them up.

Cooper spent millions on players and he’s failed. His players and he’s failed but suddenly people think he’s a great manager. I suspect when he got appointed for the job a lot of people said Steve who?????
He’ll probably get a job in the Championship (if he’s lucky) but he won’t have the same millions available so that will show how good he is.

he bought players like it was going out of fashion. including Josh Bowler. and look how that ended up.

Best match I went to all season - proper tense match which some idiot from Arsenal lost it for us ……. And never played again !

He didn't have much say in transfers apparently. He did an amazing job in getting a virtually a whole new squad to play in a coherent manner last season. The Demis Roussos look-a-like obviously thinks they need more a more high profile coach to take them to the next level.

Talk about reading the room wrong.
He didn't really have a say in what they were spending and had far too many players foisted on to him which actually made his job more difficult. He was great at Swansea and if anybody said 'Steve who?' then they didnt know an awful lot about football.
He's took Forest from the bottom of the Championship into the Premiership and kept them there , most popular Forest manager since Brian Clough . He'll more than get a job in the championship, he's very employable from that level and above.
The only thing you've got right is not sniping at his looks like many of our Brad Pitt lookalikes on here so well done for that.
