Stoke parking

Not been since Prem season and remember it was a bit of a nightmare getting out. Anyone got any tips for this? Thank you!

Other than street parking the only close one I can see is the holiday Inn at £10.

You can park at the harvester pub near the ground for 3 Quid
Have a pint while waiting for the traffic to ease

There's loads of parking near the car garages down the road and then walk up the hill to the ground.

Is it a big car park? Probably won’t be there till gone 2 so hopefully there’s room and probably have some tea there before setting off back.

Weather looking OK for Saturday therefore taking the train.
Nice walk along the canal from station.
Hopefully some decent pubs along the way.

Worked in Stoke for a few years - really is England's forgotten town. An absolute dump - nice on the outskirts but around where the ground is and Shelton/Hanley etc it's awful. Traffic is awful on a match day though - my advice head back down the A500 to J15 of the M6 rather than navigate the other way and head up to J16.

I went to a gig in hanley last year at the ritz and stayed over.. I honestly couldn't believe how bad it was.. we thought it must get better but it never did. We then walked past station other way.. that was worse!! Very grim

I parked at the rugby ground almost next door and a 10 minute walk. Use their approach road and park pointing towards the football ground. You will have to pay.
