Any other away fans pubs in cod woodT'was a bit rowdy in there last time, clearly can't be arsed with the hassle this time around
Can’t blame them, they’ve had the carpet & furniture in there for 40 years plus so why risk it getting damagedT'was a bit rowdy in there last time, clearly can't be arsed with the hassle this time around
Indeed it was especially when someone let a smoke bomb offT'was a bit rowdy in there last time, clearly can't be arsed with the hassle this time around
T'was a bit rowdy in there last time, clearly can't be arsed with the hassle this time aroundShould have behaved then
Not really arsed about a pre match beer this time but not great that one of the very few that's welcomed away supporters (5/6 times??) over the last 10 years or so this time isn't.Indeed it was especially when someone let a smoke bomb off
Me and my old man were outside in the beer garden, everyone was leaving for the game and the staff were cleaning up outside. They were flustered as owt and we heard them saying "animals, absolute ** animals"Indeed it was especially when someone let a smoke bomb off
And you’ll never go back there - it’s a good pub, great food and decent beerMe and my old man were outside in the beer garden, everyone was leaving for the game and the staff were cleaning up outside. They were flustered as owt and we heard them saying "animals, absolute ** animals"
I didn't take part in any trashing, I was outside the pub the entire time as it was rammed inside. Was the young'uns getting rowdy. And you’ll never go back there - it’s a good pub, great food and decent beer
Still, if we’re too big for Fleetwood pubs then there will be no social there
Please don’t trash Cleveleys pubs too
The pub wouldn’t have been trashed. Maybe rowdy and a few tangerine smoke bombsI didn't take part in any trashing, I was outside the pub the entire time as it was rammed inside. Was the young'uns getting rowdy.
@Torycorner I'm disappointed you're not running a cruise up from Skippool up to Fleetwood. I'd be up for itTypical example of the “few bad apples rotting a whole cart full”
A great pub, good for them not opening, despite the fact that they would have loved the financial boost.
Great staff and local customers that frequent The Strawberry always “friendly & welcoming”…..good on them for putting their “community assert” first, by not giving access to the small element of the “fantastic” Seaside Support that spoil the match day experience for the rest of us with their flares, violence and vandalism.
Unfortunately Wiz, I’ll be in the air flying to Aussie with my good Lady when the match is played.@Torycorner I'm disappointed you're not running a cruise up from Skippool up to Fleetwood. I'd be up for it
Spot on.Typical example of the “few bad apples rotting a whole cart full”

Totally agree!!As no alcohol is served in the terracing and now the away pub shut the town is getting a big fat fuck all financialy.
The Armfield then on a tram.So if the strawberry Gardens have now decided to close, what’s everyone else’s pub of choice before the game? Is it a slight detour into Cleveleys first, or is there another decent pub that the mighty can frequent
Cask in Bispham. Shipwreck in Cleveleys. So if the strawberry Gardens have now decided to close, what’s everyone else’s pub of choice before the game? Is it a slight detour into Cleveleys first, or is there another decent pub that the mighty can frequent
Just when I was at the bar the manager Ed’s stopped the serving and bar staff were flapping like it was a nuke! I get it they weren’t happy but an ott reaction IMOIndeed it was especially when someone let a smoke bomb off
It was a decent atmosphere in SGs up to that point and l can fully understand why they stopped serving and the staff l suspect weren't flapping but concerned for their own safety, and why wouldn’t they be. Why some dumbfcuk found it clever to set a firebomb off in a building beggars belief! OTT or not they have decided to close the pub at 3pm on 1st November so they have prioritised safety over profit which is more important and who can disagree with that!Just when I was at the bar the manager Ed’s stopped the serving and bar staff were flapping like it was a nuke! I get it they weren’t happy but an ott reaction IMO
Because dickheads on here can't help themselves slagging our fans off.Massive over reaction as usual, why are people who weren’t even there spouting sh1t about the pub being trashed
Exactly mateBecause dickheads on here can't help themselves slagging our fans off.
A flare in a pub big deal it's like they've never been to an away game you think the Manchester or Castle in town give a toss when their set off by travelling fans are they fuck.
Well you then lose the right to be the designated away pub then.Well why not rent the / a F/wood pub for a day ?
Apply for a Licence.fibd bar staff, ban whomever and whatever celebratory equipment people carry on their persons, buy the beer etc etc.
Would I do d be same as the Strawberry - probably
DeadunsSo if the strawberry Gardens have now decided to close, what’s everyone else’s pub of choice before the game? Is it a slight detour into Cleveleys first, or is there another decent pub that the mighty can frequent
For the uninitiated that's the Royal Oak on Lord St not far from the SG. The tram stop is close by and it's less than a ten minute walk to the ground so not a bad shout.Deaduns
They all allow away fans in colours?Other options in Fleetwood:
Rossall Tavern - Larkholme way
Three Lights - Near docks and Harbour village
Queens - Beach Road
Kings Arms, The Bug (Prince Arthur), Spoons, Old Comrades - Lord Street way.
The West End - Shakespeare road.
The Cons - just off Poulton road.
The North Euston, Additions and the Steamer at the top end of town.
I live here and never heard that any are specifically home fans only. Of course, if you wear colours, I'd advise not going in some of them! They all allow away fans in colours?
Because that just looks like a list of Fleetwood pubs surely some of them will have Cod fans in?
Something for the @SLO to find out if we now have a designated away pub or not after SG shut.

Away fans get advised where to drink same for all clubs which makes everything else for homes so sorry your list is wrong.I live here and never heard that any are specifically home fans only. Of course, if you wear colours, I'd advise not going in some of them!
Fair dos. I'm just saying that I've never seen anything in Fleetwood saying home fans only.Away fans get advised where to drink same for all clubs which makes everything else for homes so sorry your list is wrong.
I've seen plenty of away fans in there. If you entered the Kings you'd be as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.
Does it still count if they’ve only enough fans to fill a small pub function room?Away fans get advised where to drink same for all clubs which makes everything else for homes so sorry your list is wrong.
