Strawberry Gardens 1st Nov....

When I have been in the past I have gone down on the tram to Fleetwood ferry and gone in the North Euston for a drink and something to eat. Then either walked up the main street and memorial park to the ground, or taken the tram back there.

Me and my old man were outside in the beer garden, everyone was leaving for the game and the staff were cleaning up outside. They were flustered as owt and we heard them saying "animals, absolute ** animals" 😅
And you’ll never go back there - it’s a good pub, great food and decent beer

Still, if we’re too big for Fleetwood pubs then there will be no social there

Please don’t trash Cleveleys pubs too

I didn't take part in any trashing, I was outside the pub the entire time as it was rammed inside. Was the young'uns getting rowdy.

Typical example of the “few bad apples rotting a whole cart full”

A great pub, good for them not opening, despite the fact that they would have loved the financial boost.

Great staff and local customers that frequent The Strawberry always “friendly & welcoming”…..good on them for putting their “community assert” first, by not giving access to the small element of the “fantastic” Seaside Support that spoil the match day experience for the rest of us with their flares, violence and vandalism.

@Torycorner I'm disappointed you're not running a cruise up from Skippool up to Fleetwood. I'd be up for it 🤣😉👍

As no alcohol is served in the terracing and now the away pub shut the town is getting a big fat fuck all financialy.

Spot on.
Had people behaved themselves last time it wouldn’t be an issue this time.

Totally agree!!
Lose Lose
The Town loses out on a “potentially” decent financial pay day, and decent fans can’t enjoy a beer which is part of lots of their match day experience.
All at the hands of a “few feral youths” That Lancashire Police are unable to control🙄

So if the strawberry Gardens have now decided to close, what’s everyone else’s pub of choice before the game? Is it a slight detour into Cleveleys first, or is there another decent pub that the mighty can frequent

Cask in Bispham. Shipwreck in Cleveleys.

Just when I was at the bar the manager Ed’s stopped the serving and bar staff were flapping like it was a nuke! I get it they weren’t happy but an ott reaction IMO
It was a decent atmosphere in SGs up to that point and l can fully understand why they stopped serving and the staff l suspect weren't flapping but concerned for their own safety, and why wouldn’t they be. Why some dumbfcuk found it clever to set a firebomb off in a building beggars belief! OTT or not they have decided to close the pub at 3pm on 1st November so they have prioritised safety over profit which is more important and who can disagree with that!

it was a typical rowdy sing song and nothing else until the nobhead. It wasn’t thrown and just coloured smoke with a firework smell. It cleared in few minutes and they could have warned they would stop serving if any more were let off. That’s my opinion. They were not in danger.

Massive over reaction as usual, why are people who weren’t even there spouting sh1t about the pub being trashed 🙄
Because dickheads on here can't help themselves slagging our fans off.

A flare in a pub big deal it's like they've never been to an away game you think the Manchester or Castle in town give a toss when their set off by travelling fans are they fuck.

Exactly mate 👍🏼

Well why not rent the / a F/wood pub for a day ?

Apply for a Licence.fibd bar staff, ban whomever and whatever celebratory equipment people carry on their persons, buy the beer etc etc.

Would I do d be same as the Strawberry - probably

Well you then lose the right to be the designated away pub then.
You simply can't choose because of a bloody flare is let off.
When Bolton come to town I bet they'll take their coin are their fans any worse than ours are they fuck.

They all allow away fans in colours?
Because that just looks like a list of Fleetwood pubs surely some of them will have Cod fans in?

Something for the @SLO to find out if we now have a designated away pub or not after SG shut.

I live here and never heard that any are specifically home fans only. Of course, if you wear colours, I'd advise not going in some of them!

Away fans get advised where to drink same for all clubs which makes everything else for homes so sorry your list is wrong.

Right, just found out another new pub is open over the road from Spoons. It used to be called Wyre Light but is now known as Lune Deep. Again, unsure on policy on away fans but looks pretty spacious. Tour video of the place below:
