In an ideal world this would be the case but we don’t live in perfect world we live in the real world where it does happen, I wish people didn’t get murdered and raped but they do so we have a system with dealing with it just like we need a way of dealing with this, simply saying they shouldn’t do it doesn’t work.

Right okay. A system that relies heavily on the public coming forward and giving the police information? I am sure a lot less people would get convicted of murder/rape/ANYTHING if there were no witnesses coming forwards? All the witnesses of what keeps going on in the north don't say anything so it keeps happening... restrictions and punishments will continue to get harsher and harsher if its not sorted out. Now they're threatening to move your seats and noones bothered about the little nobs chucking stuff, it's the polices fault

Out of the whole stand of 3,000 or so, how many are doing it? 3? 5?

Why’s there a sweeping generalisation that it’s everyone? Can you not be in the North and behave no?

It is a very small minority who probably aren’t even drinking young teenage lads, just trying to act hard and think throwing a Lemon Fanta shows it.

It’s not the rest of the fans fault? It’s the idiots doing it and the Club’s responsibility to stop it. It’s not my responsibility to steward or police events is it? Or are we entering a new era where I need to start showing people to their seats and telling them to calm down as part of a day out.

What if the club/police got to the point where they said right, we can't figure out who it is so we will just ban the whole block? It's the clubs responsibility to sort it and that's what they've done. I wonder if people would "grass" then when the skins coming off their own nose. Don’t do the job if you’re not up to it.

ive done the doors for over 30 years done security at football man utd ,blackburn rovers fleetwood etc .
but its people who moan after on boards such as this one that security threw so and so out. maybe he was thrown out for being a knob which is usually the case.
remember the game wouldnt go ahead without security/stewards as the cost for this is far less than having the police as security.
everybody getting their camera phones out when security are ejecting someone from the ground saying they are too rough etc

I go in the North usually block B when not working which at the moment i do most saturdays and agree its a very small minority and as you say usually the little oiks who are throwing things trying to look hard.
they wouldnt of lasted 5 minutes in the 70's
