Not really. England fans were booing them, the govt criticised them. I've read the govt have the knives out for Southgate they feel his letter before the euros was critical so forgive me, the team are great and the critics of their knee taking can stop jumping on the bandwagon.

You should find the thread and re-post it if it makes you feel better or like you are proving a point. It will probably make you more unpopular than this thread but you go for it.

Personally I never posted on any of those threads because I couldn't give a shit. Players kneeling is their own choice. Not mine. And I accept what they are doing because it's their choice.

But you crack on making more friends on this momentous evening of togetherness and national goodwill.

I'm not gonna get involved in the subject title debate but I really agree with the point of your last sentence. I've been pretty much a lone voice regarding the England national team for a long while now saying how so many on here are fairweather football fans when it comes to England. Suddenly people seem to care again now we are winning. Hypocrites.
 
The interesting thing is that the booers seem to be less evident with every England victory - have wokesman Gareth and his band of knee-takers won the argument? It increasingly looks like that.

There's no known cure for the Wannabe Yank virus I'm afraid, it spreads worse than Covid. The doughnut only posed that question to try and wind people up. Boo the knee if you must, leave other nations anthems alone and show respect.
 
To be fair some people do tend to get wound up pretty easily on this site. As for booing another country’s national anthem, don’t worry, UEFA are gonna to sort it 🤪

Nonsense panties!! I don’t personally boo, to be honest it’s over that quick I don’t notice BUT folk have the right to boo when they want. Especially an organisation that ARE haters, now I know one of the BLM commanders is currently being kept alive by a machine in hospital and I don’t wish that on anyone, but there is no getting away from the fact she was an extremist and a hater ☹️
