Just read in an old magazine about a Joe Harris from Blackpool writing the song Tangerine and White which was recorded by 2 women called The Milltones and would be played at Bloomfield before games. Does anyone remember this, I only remember the Nolans?

Was that the one where he stood on a lecture in the middle of the pitch and we all had song sheets? Seem to remember "what a load of rubbish" ringing round the ground.

Well I must be in a minority here but nowt wrong with the song at the time and I bet a few of us oldies can still sing along with it.
At least it was family friendly unlike a lot more then and now😂and the Nolan family were very much Blackpool fans way back then.

The lyrics were "Onwards, Onwards always onwards boys in tangerine..we will love you 10 times better everytime you score oi "
The kop refused to join in only singing the Oi bit 😊

Think you've got the wrong end of the stick they are not slagging off the Nolan's song - its one by the Millitones apparently before my time - I personally used to love the Nolan's song as 8/9 year old in the mid seventies

I have the Singing Nolans (sic) on a 7" single which I bought in the old club shop under the South Stand
