Without any players being added by MMc then he would be doing an Appleton and playing square pegs in round holes, our strengths at the moment are all in attack so let's use it.

I'd swap Patino for Dougall but that is obviously our strongest team and best formation.
 
For his first game with very little time I think he will go back to basics and play a solid 4-4-2, everyone knows their jobs, keep it simple.

I think Mick will want Madine playing, not me personally, hopefully we'll get away from hoofing the ball to the big man up front.
Probably want a more rugged midfield a well?

Fingers crossed Yates is starting. Hopefully with what Mick was saying regarding Terry Connor and getting the best out of strikers, Yates will benefit.

4-4-2 I don't like 3 CB's THB as they seem to get in each others way, unless they've been playing like that for some considerable time (which we don't have in abundance) But all that said that's just my opinion. We've brought MM in who knows a dam site more about this subject than me, so we'll just have to see how he gets on, when he manages to put his stamp on team selection & systems. After only one day of training I wouldn't expect a huge change in systems, but hopefully he can immediately inspire our players by giving an uplifting, positive motivational team talk.

I'd like to see Moore given the goalkeeping role. Unless he's that bad it's totally unwarranted (if not tomorrow Southampton)
